Rai was dragged out of the throne room against his will. Mara and Mistress Helyla took him to a dark room. In the middle, large obsidian doors stood in the middle. Mara went ahead and opened them, making some kind of encouraging gesture; it really wasn't needed because Helyla was still making Rai walk on her own, no matter how hard Rai tried to fight it.

Rai was pushed into another room, however it was not what he had expected.

The air felt like it could set on fire; the air was dry, and was hotter than Death Valley's hottest days. A large hill was to the east, from a distance there could be seen something glinting from the hill on every side."Hold still.." Mistress Helyla commanded. What are they doing to me now-

He yelped as a sharp pain started to course through his body; the she-demon had stuck Rai with a long
syringe; dark blue liquid slowly made its way down into Rai's vein. "What is this stuff-"

"Blodyn Diafol," Mara said, a look of greed and want washed across his face. Mistress hissed and slapped his hand before he could take the syringe. "There is not enough here for you too, you greedy junky." Helyla hissed as the last drops of the liquid was out of the container. "Awww one drop wouldn't have been missed by anyone," Mara sighed, disappointed.

(Blodyn Diafol: translated-Devil's Flower
It is a type of drug used for torturing or punishment. The drug acts as a distraction to what is goin on with the user physically. It is highly addictive to demons and devils, and is only made and grown in Zlephia.)

Rai was beginning to feel some type of cloud overtake his mind; he felt like he was farther away from this place than he actually was. Mara glanced over at Rai, who looked a little unsteady on his feet. "Ooo it seems the drug is starting to take over." Mara exclaimed clapping his hands excitedly. Oh.. so that's what this stuff is.. hm not as bad as I thought it would be-
Rai wanted to mentally kick himself because of this thought. "Well, I'll be off. You can play with him now." Helyla announced as she walked away from the two, back towards the doors.

Rai's mouth began to feel extremely dry, but he couldn't see any bodies of water around. "We finally get to start!" Mara laughed. "Oh? You're thirsty, my friend?" Mara asked looking at Rai. He nodded; Mara smiled mischievously, which made Rai nervous.

"Well.. you better start running." Mara's voice gotten deep and demonic sounding as he began to be engulfed by a dark, shadowy cloud. Rai's heart and soul began to scream out; his heart felt like it was starting to be crushed by bare hands. He cried out in pain, and started to run away, towards the hill he saw earlier.

The grasp of the unseeing hands started to loosen its grip on Rai's heart, but now, two not fully solidified wolves chased after him. The thought of being ripped apart by their long, razor sharp teeth made Rai speed up in fear; the hill was getting closer now.

To his dismay, the hill had what looked to be knives and sword blades sticking out of the hill. Mara laughed behind Rai maniacally. "WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE, RAI TAKAHASHI?! YOUR WORST FEAR, OR A MOUNTAIN OF SHARP OBJECTS?!" Mara hissed demonically, which sent shivers down Rai's spine.

He could sense water was at the top of the hill. So he decided to go up the hill.

There was no room to try and maneuver around them; Rai was either stepping almost on the blades, or getting cut in general. Mara laughed at Rai's struggle up the hill while Rai yelled out in pain.

Why does this hurt so much.. Rai was prepared for it to be painful, but this pain was 6 times more painful than it should've have been.

Rai crawled up the rest of the way up the hill; he was a bloody mess and had about 80 gashes on his exposed, legs, arms, and chest.

"Huh, you're still conscious," Mara commented as he made it up to the top of the hill; he no longer had the shadowy figures alongside him. "Well, I guess you are able to get your reward then," Mara sighed, as he made his way to a fountain in the center of the hill. He came back over to Rai with a golden goblet with jewels embedded into it. Rai was somehow able to sit up, and took the goblet immediately.

The water inside tasted amazing, and made Rai feel refreshed almost instantly. Some of his wounds began to slowly heal themselves, but not fully.Mara watched silently as Rai staggered over to the fountain; Rai began to drink whatever water was left in it. After doing this, almost all of his wounds were fully healed.

"Hmm, if you weren't this eager to drink the water, you'd have a longer brake. Oh well, let's continue" Mara said. Rai looked over at Mara slowly backing away. "Did you really think I'd just joke about cutting your limbs off?" He asked tilting his head. A whip made out of Mara's flames laced around Rai's legs, leading to him tripping into the fountain, hitting his head; the back of his head started to bleed.

Mara chained up Rai's wrists as well with his flames, which began to burn away at his skin. He kneeled down, smirking at Rai; he showed Rai the obsidian cursed blade. Rai winced in pain as Mara began to cut down  near the bone connecting his collar bone and arm. "Ugh this is boring, there needs to be more screaming!" Mara hissed; he began to cut down on Rai's arm until it was off.

He began to aimlessly start to stab Rai as well;Rai began to struggle against the chains;  seeing his own blood splatter around the clay like group made Rai nocuous. Soon, his throat was dry again; it has become hoarse and dry from screaming out for the pass 30 minutes as Mara cut away at his flesh;he was enjoying himself.

"Okay, I'm done, my friend." Mara announced cheerfully, as if nothing was wrong with disemboweling someone. He put Rai's arm near where it was chopped off; he summoned some of the water from the fountain and doused Rai's arm and shoulder with it. The water began to reattach the arm, but did not heal if fully. "You're very good at this game, Rai," Mara said, looking down at him; Rai was close to losing consciousness. Mara smiled brightly. "Just so you know, we are doing this three more times today!"
