"HOW DARE YOU ATTEMPT TO KILL ME IN MY OWN CASTLE!?" Someone wearing blue and white armor went flying into a wall, leaving it crack from the force. Vein like sections of the wall crept up towards the ceiling, causing the room start to shake. Three others stood nearby, two wielding long claymores, while the other had a long white bow. Damien stood near the throne, blood covered his black gloves; his eyes glowed a brighter red than usual.

The archer in the group drew back their bow, a large ice covered arrow appeared. He fired at Damien, the arrow beginning to turn into multiple. Damien brought up his arm, a blood red lightning with flecks of blue began to lace around it. The lightning quickly shifted into a type of shield, deflecting the explosive arrows. One arrow flew up into the ceiling, causing it to start to cave in. Damien jumped gracefully from one piece of the falling ceiling to another until he was outside; the warriors followed close by.

"Such destruction shall not be pardoned without being punished.." Damien hissed. Lightning exploded from off of Damien, shifting into a large serpent. Damien looked down at the warriors with distaste as he created a symbol in the air. "Get them, Beithir." Once Damien was finished, the serpent charged down towards the warriors with a booming roar like thunder.

Suddenly, a ice covered serpent came from the west, ramming into Beithir. Soon, the two serpents were fighting amongst themselves. Damien turned to see Ayaz and Rai standing nearby, a bright blue aura was around Ayaz. I thought Mana broke him enough that he wouldn't try anything.. Damien grabbed hold of an arrow flying inches away from his head. He redirected the arrow back to the warriors, causing them to be thrown into the air, or killed by the impact. He turned, facing where Ayaz and Rai stood; soon after, he began to dive towards Ayaz, his hands growing long talons as he was engulfed by more lightning.

Rai intercepted the attack with his sword. What does this brat think he's doing?! Damien focused his attention on Rai, ignoring the surprised look on Ayaz's face. "Go help the others!" Rai yelled as he forced Damien to take a few steps back. Ayaz looked over at Rai, confused, took a few steps back and then began running down the way they came.

"Fool what do you think you're doing, defying me won't make you stronger!" Hissed Damien, forcefully pushing Rai back. He sent his talons into Rai's side, his talons ripping through his flesh. Blood splattered the broken roof of the castle as Rai went flying through the air to the left. Rai had his hand on his side as he stood facing Damien with a determined look in his red eyes.

"Oooh, we're trying to play the hero now, are we.." Damien slowly walked towards Rai. "You're playing a really dangerous game, you know that right?" Damien stopped in front of Rai. "As long as I play my hand right, I'll be fine.." Rai shot back, attempting to right hook Damien in the jaw. However, he brought up his hand fast enough to stop the punch. "Nice try, however, I am the master of this game.. and this is my home turf.. my son.."

Damien started to swing Rai in the air throwing him a distance away. Rai was able to prepare to land, as he did he sent a volley of lightning towards his father. Damien swiftly dodged passed them, soon reaching Rai again. He drove his talons into Rai's stomach. Rai let out a yelp of pain, before jumping back, away from Damien.

"DID YOU THINK THAT YOU COULD FIGHT TOE-TO-TOE WITH ME JUST BECAUSE YOU INHERITED POWERS?!" Damien roared, sending a large blast of lightning towards Rai. Rai leaped out of the way quickly, creating a large whip of electricity in mid air. He landed nimbly on a piece of broken concrete and shingles, lashing the whip towards Damien. Damien looked at Rai, a look of disappointment crossed his face as he moved out of the way of the whip. However, Rai wasn't aiming for Damien; Rai broke his whip back towards Damien's back, a piece of a wall quickly coming up from behind because of the whip.

The concrete wall made impact with Damien's back, knocking him off his balance.  Rai dashed forward, drawing his sword. "Good try... but not good enough, my son.." Damien said. A powerful aura encased Damien in it's grasp, knocking Rai back. Rai watched as his father stood slowly, Damien lifted his gaze to meet Rai's. "You have a long way until you will be able to kill me.. I haven't survived for 874 just by pure luck.." he hissed, starting to take slow steps toward Rai.

"I don't care how long you've lived! Sooner than later, you will meet your end. Even if that means giving up all that I stand for. I'd rather die trying to save Arcadia than die by being put through this hell and torture." Rai yelled. All I want is my old life back now.. but it seems so far away.. I never appreciated what I had enough.. Damien looked at Rai with contempt in his red eyes. "Almost all who've faced me said something similar to the words you just uttered." Damien commented.

"Osiris was stupid to think you were ready to defeat me.." Damien continued, stopping near Rai. "Regardless, that is not going to change my intentions of killing you here and now.." Damien tried to grab Rai by his throat, but Rai stopped him. "One year!..give me one year to train more.. and then we could continue this.." Rai blurted out. "Even with one year, you wouldn't be able to out match me, however I'll take you up on your offer.." Damien chuckled, a sinister grin crossing over his face. "Your time starts now.. until we meet again, my son.." Damien quickly grabbed hold of a surprised Rai's wrist, throwing him into the vast blood red sunset. Sometimes, you have to learn the hardest way to fly on your own..
