15. Joe owns it

Louis decided to take Rose throughout the hospital for a mini tour and introductions .All were excited to know about the new employee who cleared the test set up by Dr. Juniper .They were amazed . Who wouldn't be?

Going through the hospital in the doctor's coat with her ID felt like a dream come true. She was on cloud 13 if that was even possible.Jordan had to stay back to complete some formalities of his on coming world tour from the coming Monday .

The moment they got off the elevator at the ground floor to begin their tour , Rose could sense some change in Louis. Even though he still had that warm smile on his face , he had become somewhat more professional. Even though kindness flowed through his eyes , he had gained a bit of something similar to seriousness in his demeanor.

All greeted Louis with a polite smile. Everyone liked him a lot , he was kind and easy to approach but they knew he was very strict and serious towards work. He couldn't let anyone slack down. After all it was the question of someone's life here.

They went through the radiology, gynaecology , cardiology and many sections of the hospital taking just a brief glance .Everyone was shocked to see Rose being given a tour by the senior most and most respected and experienced doctor of not only the hospital but also the city . Louis was well known for his charity works and his excellent experience throught Canada . Rose felt privileged and proud to work under his guidance .

They also went to meet Ananstasia , a small African origin girl with large curls and a beautiful smile . Rose looked at her and smiled back causing her smile to dissolve into a large grin .They talked and played for a while as Louis finished all the donating formalities for Rose. Rose reluctantly got up to leave the room . She loved kids and this girl was just among the most sweet and nice ones she had met. She didn't deserve this . No one ever did .

" You are goin' ? " Anastasia pouted while her pigtails swayed in air.

" I'm sorry Ana . I'll have to leave for now . But I'll come back to meet you again ."

" Pinky promise"

Rose let out a small laugh agreeing with her , " Pinky promise " She said hooking their little fingers together .

By the end of the tour and introductions , it was already time to switch the shift for the staff . It was getting late so Louis decided to call it a day compelling Rose to go home .

They went up to his floor and Rose collected her belongings. Jordan who had been there all this time also decided to leave .Both waved to Louis and started their way down. It had been a long day for Rose .Hospital tour of such a big place after a hell lot of lectures at the college had started to take its toll.

Rose dragged her feet lazily to the front door mumbling a bye to Melini who chuckled at her childish antics. Jordan looked at her amused smiling once in a while at the beautiful girl in front of him .

Rose stood at the front gate waiting for a taxi to stop by when a black Mercedes Benz rolled by and screeched to a stop in front of her . A familiar face popped out and gestured her to enter.

" What ?"

" Hop in dumbhead ! I'll drop you "

" Oh am I dreaming ? The almighty Jordan River is being polite and offering me a ride . I must be in a parallel universe."

Jordan rolled his eyes" I was trying to help . Moreover I wanted someone to guide me to a nearby diner or something. Today is my cheat day ." He said suddenly very excited . It was as if Rose was being compelled to take a kid to the candy store . She chuckled at her thoughts but what could she do ? He had that happy of a smile on his face.
