47. No matter what

Rose couldn't believe her eyes. There he was, standing in front of her with the goofiest smile looking handsome as ever in a dark green tux. It was him . After running off to god knows where for the past 3 months , there he was walking ,or rather running towards Rose. She couldn't help but keep looking at him with her mouth ajar.

Tyler took a stunned frozen Rose in his arms ,lifting her up and twirled her around chuckling all the time .

" Rosey !"

That's when Rose snapped out of her trance and smacked him hard.

" Ow Rosey ! Careful there !  You could have broken this handsome face ! Think what would have happened to all those poor girls if this handsome being just vanished off the face of Earth cause his sister couldn't keep her hands to herself. "

" Eww Tyler . You make it sound like-"

" I'm the sexiest person out there ?" Tyler cut her off wiggling his eyebrows.

Rose was trying to keep up her scowl but couldn't help but laugh. Tyler's eyes softened and he took his little sister in his arms again. Rose was everything to him and being overseas due to work these 3 months, away from Rose , he hadn't realised how much he missed her smile until now. It just made him forget every tension of the world and brightened up his soul.

" You never told me you'd be here ! I thought you were in L.A. ! "

" I was until someone who claimed to be your ' boyfriend' called me telling me that I need to be here." He said looking back at Jordan , suddenly loosing all the goofiness and eyeing him up carefully.

Jordan though, stood there unfazed returning his glare with a polite smile. He looked at Rose who wasn't looking at either one of them.

Rose blushed against her wish and diverted her eyes . The place where they were supposed to go was still a mystery to her. The idea of it being a date was dismissed immediately the moment she saw the girls getting ready too. Her birthday and even Jordan's birthday was still months away so that couldn't be . Aiden had clearly told her that Jordan's schedule was clear today and suddenly seeing Tyler here wasn't helping the situation at all.

" Care to explain Rose ?"

Tyler calling her Rose instead of Rosey not only brought her out of her thoughts but also made her quite aware of how serious Tyler was and she knew it was her mistake.

" Ty ... " she hesitated a bit and lifted her eyes slightly to figure out Tyler's mood. Looking down at her , Tyler's eyes softened a bit once it gazed into her uncertain eyes. He held her hand gently and Rose let out a silent sigh of relief. Her tactic had worked yet again. She knew Tyler couldn't be angry at her for long after seeing her like this.

Rose took a step back looked back at Jordan , directly into his soft eyes which were holding immense love for her and she wondered yet again for the hundredth time that day how much of it was  true. She looked back at Tyler and intertwined her hands with Jordan.

" Ty , meet my boyfriend Jordan River. Jordan he is my brother, Tyler Bolton.  "

Jordan shook his hand firmly with a polite smile on his face .

" Hello Tyler. I'm glad to finally meet you.  Have heard a lot about you from Rose ."

" I hope I could say the same about you. " Tyler sighed giving Rose a look.

Rose passed him a guilty smile . The week and it's events had taken a big toll on her.  She had always wanted to contact Tyler but the sudden commencement of the project with the doctors hadn't helped even a bit . Agreeing to Tyler's We'll-talk-later look , Rose finally took a look around.
