" Oh God ! What is this as.. Ow Roe ! Careful ! You'll give me a concussion some day with the amount of smacking I'm getting from you "

" So then simply stop cursing " she shrugged

Amelia huffed having already had this conversation with her many times and knowing she won't succeed. She just hated cursing with a passion. Her attention snapped back to the game where she had been cursing some of Ryder's teammates.

" They should just pass it to Ryder , he'll take it from there " she said frustrated . Rose cleared her throat and wiggled her eyebrows at Amelia .

" Oh my my ! Someone's..."

" Oh shut up Roe ! Not again." she grumbled .

Ryder was nervous for the first time for a match .That morning when he saw Amelia wearing his jersey, he couldn't help but smile. He couldn't wear off that smile the whole time until now . Entering the ground , he first took a glance towards the bleachers to find the girl who had been on his mind for a long time now .

He found Amelia , Rose , Catherine and Stephanie talking continuously on the bleachers . As if sensing him , Amelia turned and their eyes met. Her smile grew wider and she mouthed 'Go for it' to him .Ryder's eyes twinkled as he nodded back .

Now his team was losing by 2 points and he was stressed.

Ryder rubbed his forehead as he glanced back at the bleachers. He found Amelia and Rose looking at him worriedly.Rose gave him a bright reassuring smile while Amelia being her excited self got up and shouted ' Go Dragons ' . Rose followed and so did the other two. Soon many others joined .

This filled all the players with adrenaline and they popped their bones while getting themselves ready for the game . They were filled with determination when they saw the many people chearing for them. It felt good and the win felt worthwhile.

Ryder was shocked to see determination flowing through their eyes. He gave a grateful yet determined nod to his two Angels and they smiled back with reassurance. This was what they had needed. A new found determination. The team finally coped up with the two goals and now the match was a tie .

The opposite team got a hold of the ball as they dribbled through the defences . They were a tough competition but even Dragons were no less. The captain took the shot .The ball struck the rim of the basket and started swirling on it . Everyone held their breath as the ball stopped and .... fell to the ground .

Ryder acted quickly and took control . Dribbling to the other side he noticed Carlos not far away . They would have to take a long short, only a few seconds were left . Carlos was exceptionally good at long throws . Ryder briefly made eye contact and Carlos understood what he wanted . He positioned himself ready as the clock ticked the last 10 seconds .

Ryder faked direction and it seemed to work as the defendant swirled , he passed the ball to Carlos .

Carlos positioned the ball and bent down focused on the rim ...

Catherine held her breath mentally telling Carlos to do it right or she'll show him the hell ..

Carlos pushed his legs up and threw the ball at the ring just as a defendant jumped to stop it ..
