Id rather be nothing to you than just another person in your life. i just want to be the most important person to you, but im not. you are to me. if we remained friends it would ruin me as you slowly move onto somebody else who makes you smile and i find myself becoming less and less important to you. you wont look to make me smile anymore, but instead you'll look to your new girlfriend and see everything that i'm not. It'll ruin me. we just can't be friends.
