Yuri had grabbed the rest of his books from out of his locker and decided to go to the toilets after seeing how much time he had left. His stomach rumbled softly as he pushed open the door, scanning the room with his eyes to notice that nobody was in there with him. He sighed and slipped into a stall, slightly undoing his pants to let his aching tail free.He did the same for his cat ears. The beanie ripped off in seconds to free his uncomfortable ears, the little things twitching in delight.
After the break was over, the day went on slower then before. It didn't help by the many stares he was getting. It was like everybody wanted to get a glimpse of the boy who had made RJ Willows smile like that, though Yuri didn't know why there were so many prying eyes on him after lunch. He didn't know how he had made the older smile or how his dark orbs had stared at him in adoration.
He found his way back to his locker on the end of the day, emptying his backpack to replace it with the books he got homework for. He was almost done when he felt a presence behind him, making him turn around quickly. Grey eyes stared back at him, calming him down instantly.
"Hi Yara." He softly mumbled, a small smile playing on his lips as she placed herself next to him against the lockers.
"Hey, I'm sorry if you find me annoying, but I just have this feeling of protecting you. You know?" He didn't. "Anyway, I was wondering where you went after lunch? Are you okay? Did something happen?"
His cheeks warmed up at the memorie of what had happened, though he shook his head quickly. "Nothing, I just felt a little overwhelmed, so I wanted to be o-on my own."
Yara nodded at that, not fully understanding why you would want to be alone, though that could be because she grew up surrounded by pack members. "That's alright. Do you... want to go to a cute cafe with me and some of my friends?"
"M-maybe another time, sorry."
Yara smiled. "No worries, I will try another time then. See you tomorrow, Yuri!"
Yuri watched her walk away and sighed for the hundredth time that day, wanting to punch himself in the face. Why did he say no? He wanted to go, but was a little unsure of the 'and some of my friends' part. Goddess, why couldn't he be more confident?
Yuri sulked as he made his way out of the building, the little pout noticed by someone who watched the boy walk across the parking lot. RJ bit the insides of his cheek as his eyes followed the figure, his lean body leaning against his motor lazily.
Zara rolled his eyes at seeing his lovestruck friend, punching his side playfully to get him out of his stare. With a little growl as answer, he did. "Why didn't you talk to him today?"
RJ's face morphed into a similar frown that Yuri had been wearing a few seconds ago. "I wanted to, but it's hard to keep myself contained around him. I've tried a couple've times, but backed out again after almost engulfing him in a hug when he wasn't looking."
"That bad?" Zara chuckled, spinning the keys of his car around his finger.
"I just need to find a way to talk to him without it being creepy or obvious I want to smother him with kisses."
Zara laughed, ruffling his friends hair before he walked towards his car. "I'm sure you're smart enough to think of something."
RJ puffed out some air, silently following his friends lead and climbed onto his motor. He secured his head with his helmet and let the motor roar for a bit before riding off, following the black jeep of his friend down the road.
Yuri lazily threw his pencil away when his head started to pound painfully. He stretched his aching muscles, his tail swishing back and forth in the air behind him. He groaned softly in delight and closed his eyes, enjoying the silence as he forgot about his homework.
