"Can you give me the snacks?" Thomas mumbled, holding out his hand to Zara. They were all sitting by the river Zara had found not far from the cabin, all with some sort of alcoholic drink and tasty snacks. Yuri had declined the drink, so Rae gave him something different. Which the smaller male was grateful for.
It was a sunny day. Almost no clouds in the sky, with soft music playing from Thomas's phone and with nobody else anywhere near them. Giving them a private swimming area for the whole week.
"Don't you think that beanie is a bit much?" Yara chuckled at Yuri.
Yuri sheepishly smiled, though didn't move to take it off. "I-I just don't like the way my hair looks." He lied. The only thing he liked about his weird body was his two colored hair, but he couldn't show it off as his cat ears were not something you'd see normally.
"I'm sure it's fine." She smiled reassuringly. "But I also have a hat somewhere in a red bag inside if you'd like, it would probably feel a bit less warm."
Yuri smiled and nodded happily, already on his feet to get it. Rae quickly followed him, smiling dumbly at his friends who gave him sly grins in return, knowing why he was glued on the little males hip. He ran up the path and fell into step next to him.
"Do you not like the sun?" Rae asked curiously, his eyes scanning his mate's body, fully clothed with long pants and a warm sweater.
Yuri blushed, stuttering out to come up with a lie. "My skin i-is sensitive." He blurted.
"Really?" Rae asked surprised. "So... no swimming and no sun then?"
Yuri mumbled a yes, feeling a little sad about that lie. He did thought about everything beforehand, so he knew what he had to do to keep his secret safe.
They walked through the sliding doors inside, Rae going his own way to the kitchen and Yuri searching for a red bag. He quickly replaced his beanie with Yara's hat, looking into a window to see his reflection. He huffed a breath, making sure his cat ears were covered.
"Oh, that's cute."
Yuri cleared his throat, tipping the hat lower so he could hide his blush as he spinned around to face a smirking Rae. The wolf bit his lip to keep his big smile in, his eyes scanning his mate up and down playfully.
"Stop looking at me like that." Yuri mumbled embarrassed, heading for the stairs to replace his hot sweater.
"Look at you like what?" Rae asked grinning, slightly tipsy from his drink, the fact that being in the sun for so long didn't help.
"Like... like —I don't know, just stop looking at me." Yuri grumbled, searching for the room he stayed in. He grabbed a shirt from his open bag and turned around to seeing Rae standing in the doorway. "I-I need to change."
"Oh." Rae breathed, turning around immediately. "Sorry."
Yuri wanted to tell him to leave the room completely, but just decided to do it quickly. He pulled his dirty sweater off and replaced it with a simple shirt, tucking his tail into his long pants to hide it again.
"I-I'm done, you can look now." He mumbled shyly, avoiding the older his eyes as he turned around facing him.
He made himself busy by putting away his sweater that he didn't notice how the werewolf had walked closer to him. Rae wanted to hold him so badly. To just ruffle his hair, embrace him in his arms and kiss those soft looking lips.
He sighed, the hot breath fanning against Yuri's neck, causing the younger to stiffen slightly. "Can I touch you?"
Yuri furrowed his eyebrows at that, his heart hammering against his ribs painfully fast with how close they were. "W-what do you m-mean?" He whispered nervously.
