Chapter - 09

Yuri leaned back after a few seconds, but not that far as two arms were wrapped around his waist, holding him in place. He was just a silent mess while he stared down at the older in shock, the fire he felt in the pit of his stomach slowly growing stronger.

"So... you like me?" Rae asked carefully, a goofy smile still plastered on his face.

"M-maybe just... a little." Yuri whispered shyly, his fingers tracing the soft skin of the older's chest to avoid looking at those intense eyes.

Rae hummed, smiling widely. "You want to try it again?"

"You mean... k-kiss?"

"Yes." Rae chuckled, earning a shy smile of the younger while he avoided eye contact.

"I bet you would want that."

Rae quirked his eyebrows with a grin. "There's that sassy side of yours, I already wondered where it went."

Yuri breathed a smile, his focus still on the older's chest rather then on his face. Rae scrunched his nose in disapproval and pushed the younger's chin up so they could lock eyes. The cat ears on Yuri's head turned upright as soon as they did, giving away his happy feelings at the moment. Though Rae thought it was extremely adorable, his hand automatically already scratching behind those fluffy ears he so adored.

Yuri started purring in delight, the vibration coursing through their touch, causing the older to smile at the unusual thing. "Please be my boyfriend." He blurted out.

Yuri's eyes fluttered back open at those sudden words, the soft petting he had been getting totally forgotten. Rae blushed as those blue eyes watched him, his somewhat clammy hand cupping one of the younger's cheek carefully. Yuri leaned more into his touch before slowly nodding, the already rosy cheeks turning a darker shade of red. "Okay." He whispered, to scared to speek up properly.

Though Rae didn't need more before he smiled and leaned in to claim those soft lips again, his big hands holding his mate close by gripping his back as he could feel the shy hands of Yuri cupping his face to hold him in place. He hummed in approval, the sound causing the younger to purr louder in response, his tail wrapping itself around one of Rae's arms to feel even closer to the older.

The kiss started out shy, with unsure touching and sounds, but the longer they went on, the more the kiss turned into a heated mess of tongue and moans.

Rae was about to leave these perfect lips to explore some more, but the loud voices outside the room made them slow down their pace. They both held back while eying each other, the noises in the hallway far on the background as they tried to contain their fast breathing and wild beating hearts.

"Let's get you some sleep, hmm?" Rae smiled after seeing the younger yawn, carefully rolling over so they both laid down onto the mattress.

Yuri pouted, but didn't complain as he felt himself being pulled closer towards a warm body. He cuddled into the warmth that was Rae and started purring softly to wordlessly say he liked it. Rae lazily smiled when he felt the younger clung onto him, wrapping his own arm around the younger's back to pull him in once more to place a soft kiss onto his head before closing his eyes as well. Embracing the dark that took over not a few minutes later.

Yuri purred softly as he gazed up at the sleeping face of his boyfriend. He scrunched his nose at that word, feeling like he was dreaming and he could wake up anytime soon. Not believing that this godlike human being would want him to be his. Even after knowing his secret.

The younger rubbed his cheek lovingly against the older's chest, his tongue lapping at the skin. Yuri stiffened as he quickly retracted his tongue, not knowing why he had done that. He looked up to see if Rae had noticed his weird behaviour, but he was still fast asleep. Yuri frowned at himself, not knowing why he behaved like... such a cat lately.

Rae hummed in his sleep, unconsciously pulling the younger closer while he turned onto his side, burying his nose in the birds nest that was Yuri's hair. Yuri blushed, but smiled widely as he nestled closer into those warm arms. His purring intensifying.

But the bedroom door that suddenly bursted open had the two jump up in surprise. Yuri had not much time to process before a body hovered over his, hiding him from view. Rae groaned at his sister angrily, looking over his shoulder to give her a glare. "Can't you fucking knock?"

"Sorry about that, thought I should wake you guys up before you lay here all day. We're going to town remember? Be ready in half a hour." She said before closing the door back behind her.

Rae sighed and turned his head so he looked down at the boy underneath him. Big, blue eyes stared back up at him while those soft looking lips turned into a beautiful shy smile. Yuri blushed as he took in the handsome boy above him. Even though you could see he had just woken up, he looked absolutely gorgeous to Yuri.

"Sorry about my sister, that was close." Rae breathed, slowly laying down on top of his little mate so he could rest his head on his chest.

"Thank you." Yuri mumbled, shyly debating if he should play with Rae's hair or not. "F-for protecting me."

Rae hummed, sleepily blinking as he could feel fingers carefully comb through his hair. He sighed in delight and closed his eyes, his ear that was pressed against the younger's chest picking up the sound of a fast beating heart. He smiled and snaked his arms around Yuri's waist, slowly drifting back to sleep.

But the loud banging and yelling from his best friend on the door made him groan out. "Fine, fine." He slowly got up and stretched his aching muscles while his eyes found those of Yuri, his little mate shyly eying him up and down. He smirked and leaned back over to kiss the quiet boy on the cheek. "Are you coming? Or do you want to keep looking at my gorgeous body? I wouldn't mind, it's yours anyway."

Yuri flushed red and quickly shook his head before jumping out of bed. Rae chuckled as he watched him change, he slowly following him in his footsteps and continued to tease him here and there. Enjoying the flushed face that he caused. He watched silently as Yuri tucked his tail in his pants, his thin fingers pulling unsurely at his beanie as his blue eyes inspected his work in the mirror. Rae pushed himself up from the bed and stopped behind him to carefully wrap his arms around his belly, his chin resting on Yuri's shoulder as he locked eyes with him through the mirror.

"How many beanies do you even have." He chuckled playfully.

Yuri smiled and shrugged his shoulders. "Not that many."

"Sure." Rae smirked, kissing his little mate's cheek lovingly before he could stop himself.

The two walked down to meet with the others, their friends already huddled up on the couch, ready and waiting for them to come down. Zara looked up from his phone to look at the two and immediately noticed the two intertwined hands down at their hips. He smirked knowingly, but held it for himself for now. "Took you long enough, you guys ready?"

"Which town are we going? The one close by or the one further away?" Rae asked as they made their way to the car outside.

"The one further away, I heard that there was a nice route through the forest in that area." Thomas said with a big smile when he climbed inside.

Yara snorted. "You sound like an old man that's enjoying his pension."

Thomas smacked her arm with a pout, earning a giggle from her and laughs from the rest. Yuri settled down next to Rae in the middle and unconsciously leaned more into his side as time went on. The two in their own little world as they locked eyes and smiled sillily.
