Clay's POV

Today was the first day at my new school. My girlfriend and I had to move a while back and the new school year had started today. Both our dads worked in the same office, they were really close and one day my girlfriend's dad wanted to introduce his daughter to me. It was years ago now and we started liking each other a bit. We just asked each other out one day and we were still together.

Our dads were really close and a while back they got promoted together, causing them to get a better job. Only it was way further away so we would have to move for them to be able to do their jobs.

Well and that's where we were right now. I was walking to school with my girlfriend. I was pretty nervous for today, but I was glad that I didn't move alone. I was always a bit scared in new situations, but I was sure it was going to be fine.

After a fifteen minute walk, we arrived at school and we went in to go to the principal's office.

'Do you know where to go?' Hannah muttered as she looked at me with big and scared eyes.

I shrugged my head at my girlfriend and I saw an older man coming closer. 'Maybe he knows?' I said with a questioning tone in my voice.

Hannah nodded and we slowly walked to the man. He looked at us with a smile on his face. 'Can I help you?'

'Uh- we are new,' I muttered. 'We had to go to the principal's office, but we don't know where to go.'

'Oh, it's easy! You have to walk up that stair and just straight forward until you see a blue door.'

'Thanks, sir,' I nodded and Hannah smiled. We walked up the stairs and followed his instructions. After a while we indeed ended up in front of a blue door. I knocked on it and we stood there in silence, waiting for an answer.

'Come in!'

I opened the door and we both walked in slowly. The principal smiled and stood up to shake our hands. 'You must be Clay and Hannah?'

We both nodded. 'Could you find it easily?'

'A man led us the way,' I said quietly.

'The school isn't extremely big, you will find your way more easily once you get used to it.'

Hannah nodded and the principal smiled. 'I can give you your schedule and show you the classroom where you have to be at first.'

We walked with him and he gave us a small tour around the school.

'Is it a bit like your old school?' the principal asked us.

I nodded. 'It's decently similar, I hope all people are kind.'

'They are and as soon as someone is mean, they will get punished for what they've done. It's not the biggest school so we barely have people being mean.'

I nodded and Hannah did the same again. The principal explained to us a bit about how all classes were planned. We had a pretty chill schedule, or at least, it wasn't worse than our other schedule.

At the end of the tour we ended up next to our class and I saw it hadn't started yet. The principal looked inside and smiled. 'There are already four of the students in your class.'

I looked inside and saw three girls and one boy. Just as I wanted to look away, I saw the boy looked up at me. I felt a weird feeling in my stomach and smiled as I saw what they were doing. The boy was doing the girl's makeup and I saw he was wearing some too. It wasn't a lot, but it was still pretty cute.

The boy stood up and walked closer to me, I had no idea why I had this, but my cheeks heated up slightly as he came closer to me. He stuck out his hand and I smiled. 'Hi,' I muttered.

'Hello, I'm George,' he spoke in a quiet, but a happy voice.

I shook his hand. 'I'm C-Clay,' I muttered, being a bit distracted by his looks.

George smiled at me and turned around to the girls after he shook Hannah's hand too. I tried to get my eyes off of him, but they seemed to be stuck on George's face. I suddenly could feel Hannah's eyes stare at me and I looked at my hands immediately. I walked closer to the girls and smiled at them.

'I'm Clay,' I mumbled.

'I'm Niki,' a pretty girl said with a smile.

'I'm Cara!' the girl next to Niki said.

'I'm Olivia,' the last girl said as she smiled. She had short hair and was wearing a bit more masculine clothes. I smiled at her and George seemed to be some sort of magnet where my eyes kept looking at.

He turned around and smiled at me, I felt my cheeks heating up again and smiled back. I didn't smile back because he smiled, I just smiled because he was so cute.

The principal left and Hannah sat down as I was still staring at George. Hannah grabbed my hand and pulled me down on a chair.

'Clay? Are you alright?' she asked. She looked concerned, but she had a smile on her face at the same time.

'I'm f-fine,' I whispered. I almost started looking at George again, but I looked at Niki instead. She was looking in a small mirror and looked up at me.

'Your makeup looks good,' I smiled.

'Thanks! George did it.'

George giggled. 'I'm a professional.'

I grinned and looked at him again, he looked back at me and my cheeks immediately heated up again. I looked at my hands, smiling as I thought about George. He was really cute and handsome at the same time and with that, he also had a lot of courage to wear makeup as a boy. I felt my cheeks heat up more and more and I quickly looked away as Hannah looked at me again.
