George's POV
Clay and I chilled the rest of the day and in the evening I went home again. I ran inside and let myself fall down on the couch next to my mum.
'Mum, I'm in love. I need advice.'
My mum looked at me and smiled. 'Is it Clay?'
'Yes and I need advice now.'
'What do you need advice with?'
'How do I flirt with him? How do I make him fall in love?'
'An important detail is if he's gay or not.'
'Yes, now answer me,' I giggled.
'Okay, just say what you think. Call him handsome and such.'
'We held hands today and we cuddled,' I smiled with a blush on my face. 'I'm so excited, mum. He asked me to stay over at night.'
My mum grinned. 'Are you going to keep it safe or do I need to buy some stuff.'
'Shut up, we aren't going to do anything. I'm not even his boyfriend.'
'Yeah sure, not yet.'
I giggled. 'I hope so. I would love to be his boyfriend, he's so handsome and cute. I want to cuddle with him and I want to kiss him. He's amazing, mum.'
My mum was just laughing and nodded. 'I'll believe you.'
'Mum, he's so attractive. I can't wait to go to school tomorrow, I want to look at him for days.'
My mum laughed. 'Do you want some tea?'
'Sure,' I sighed as I let myself fall backwards on the couch. 'I've never been in love.'
'There's a first time for everything.'
I sighed and smiled as my mum gave me tea. After I had drunk my tea, I went upstairs to sleep. I was so excited to see Clay again and fell asleep quickly.
I ran to school as soon as I could the next morning and Clay wasn't even at school yet. I impatiently waited for him to come and jumped up when I saw him walking with Hannah. I ran to Clay and had to resist myself from hugging him.
'Hi!' I yelled.
Clay was startled by me, but he smiled after. 'You're excited.'
'I'm happy to see you again,' I said shyly. I blushed slightly and looked away quickly.
Clay giggled and he smiled. 'I'm happy to see you as well.'
We both giggled and we got lost in staring at each other again. If I could, I would just kiss him and hold him for the rest of my life, but I got startled by Hannah grinning.
I looked at her and Clay did the same with a red face. 'What?' he muttered.
'I'm such a third wheel, just make out already.'
Clay rolled his eyes. 'Just go to Olivia or something.'
Hannah laughed. 'Fine, I'll leave you two alone. I don't want to be here for that make out session that's coming close.'
Clay softly pushed Hannah towards Niki, Olivia and Cara and she walked off. Clay smiled at me and he walked a bit closer. 'Do you think I can come out today in the LGBTQ+ group?'
'You can, but only if you're ready to come out.'
'I'm ready to come out to them. How do I explain to them that I had a girlfriend, but I'm still gay?'
'You don't have to explain anything to them if you don't want to. If you're gay, then you are. There's no explanation needed for that.'
'Thanks, it means a lot that you accept me.'
'Of course, I was so scared that people wouldn't accept me either and I'm gay myself, of course I'm going to accept you, I even fully agree with you. Girls are nah, boys are hot.'
Clay giggled. 'Come to class, idiot.'
The day passed by slowly and before we knew we were walking to the LGBTQ+ club. Clay was really nervous, but he calmed down now Hannah and I were with him. He sat down on a chair and waited for it to start.
'Guys,' he whispered. I saw a few people looking at Clay and then the teacher noticed too.
'What's up, Clay?'
Clay lifted his head and sighed deeply, closing his eyes for a second. 'I know this won't be a big deal for you at all, but it's still difficult for me. Recently I've figured out that I'm gay.'
'REALLY?' Olivia yelled happily. She jumped up and gave Clay a hug. Everyone was really supportive and sweet to Clay and I saw his shoulders and hands relax. He was less nervous now he told them and smiled at everyone being so sweet.
'Clay, are we allowed to ask questions when someone has one or would you rather leave it to this?'
'I find it hard to talk about,' Clay muttered. 'But you can ask me a question.'
I saw Hannah smile, since she knew what question was coming and she lifted her hand to speak before Clay had to. 'We had more of a friendly relationship, we broke up because he is gay and that went absolutely well. No one got hurt or anything, he hasn't faked anything. He just thought that he was straight and that he liked me.'
A few people nodded.
'Are you also part of it?' Sapnap asked. 'You don't have to be of course, you can just be here for support.'
'I'm not sure,' Hannah said with confidence. 'I think I am, because I do find a girl pretty cute and attractive. I think I might be pansexual, since I have never cared about gender at all.'
'Me too!' Bad smiled.
I grinned a little when I saw Olivia stare at Hannah for a bit and I grinned even more when I saw Sapnap staring at Karl. Sapnap hadn't come out, maybe he didn't even know things himself yet, but it was so obvious that he liked Karl.
Karl looked back at Sapnap and I saw Sapnap look away as fast as possible. I giggled and I stared back at Clay. Clay seemed to already be staring and he smiled at me, looking down at his hands after.
