George's POV
After I explained to Clay that I was colourblind, he chose the black nail polish and sat down behind my desk with his hand on it. I sat down next to him as I started painting his nails as carefully and securely as possible.
'George?'
'Yes.'
'When did you figure out your feelings for boys, if I may ask?'
'I've just always known, if I'm honest. I have never been interested in girls and I have always spoken about a boyfriend or he/him since I was really little. I just liked boys and I thought everyone did.'
Clay nodded slowly.
'You?'
'I don't know, I find it a bit hard to talk about.'
'I'm sorry! That's totally fine, you can talk about it if you want, but we will stop talking about it as long as you're uncomfortable with it.'
'Thanks,' Clay smiled as his face got a bit red.
I concentrated on his nails again and after a while I was done. Clay let his nails dry and looked at it. 'It looks good.'
'Yes? Do you like it?'
'I do,' Clay smiled.
His nails had dried and we sat down on my bed. Clay was staring at the ground again, deep in thoughts so I left him for a little. I smiled and felt some butterflies filling my stomach. He was really handsome and cute. I was falling in love with him even though we had just met.
Clay suddenly looked up and he looked at me. 'Sorry, I was zoned out.'
'Don't worry, I noticed. I don't mind at all. Would you like to play a game?'
'Sure,' Clay smiled and kept looking at me after that. I stared at him too and it felt like we both got a little bit lost in staring at each other. I felt butterflies filling up my stomach and my cheeks heated up. His cheeks got red too and I grabbed his hand, realising what I did after.
'Uh- nail polish!' I quickly said. 'It looks good.'
Clay quickly looked at his hands too and nodded. 'They do.'
We were both blushing now and I quickly stood up to walk to my PC. 'How about Minecraft?'
'Yeah, I like Minecraft a lot.'
'Do you have a laptop by accident? Otherwise I'll grab mine.'
'I do have my school laptop.'
'Okay, can you use that?'
'I can,' Clay smiled and he stood up to sit down next to me. He turned his laptop on as I turned my PC on and we sat in comfortable silence next to each other, waiting for it to load. When it did we loaded Minecraft and I looked at our hands.
Since I was left handed, my hand was slightly resting against Clay's hand on the desk. Clay had noticed it too and he looked at our hands, having a small smile fill his face as he looked away again, not moving his hand. I didn't either and I smiled, starting Minecraft.
I was about to grab his hand as I realised he had a girlfriend. I shouldn't do anything like that, there would always be a small chance that he didn't pull away and then felt guilty about what he did. I watched the screen again and Clay smiled. 'It has loaded.'
'Same here, what do you want to do? A server? Or just make our own private server?'
'We can do both, we can play on a private one at first and a public one after,' Clay said.
'Okay,' I smiled and made a server. I was still a bit distracted by our hands constantly touching slightly. The smallest touch made my stomach go crazy already.
After a little I had made a private server and Clay was building a house for us. I was just watching him and he placed two beds in the end. I giggled and decided to make him flustered. I broke one of the beds and put them next to each other. I heard Clay giggled nervously and he smiled.
'I see,' he giggled nervously.
I giggled too and looked at him after. 'What? Just homies right?'
Clay laughed, but I could see him getting even more nervous. I giggled and broke the bed again. 'Well, fine. No cuddles for you at night,' I grinned.
Clay wheezed and rolled his eyes. 'I never said that I didn't want cuddles.'
I laughed and broke the bed again, putting it next to his. Clay's face was really red now and he giggled. 'You're such an idiot.'
I laughed and looked around the house. 'It looks- pretty,' I giggled.
'You can just say that it's freaking ugly.'
'I mean, I wouldn't say that. It's just quite something.'
Clay rolled his eyes. 'You do it if you can do it better.'
'I can't,' I laughed. 'It looks fine, don't worry.'
We built for some time and we tried beating the game after, although we both were too distracted every time. I was distracted by our hands touching and I figured Clay was because of his ADD.
We ended up beating the game hours later and Clay smiled at me. 'I like playing Minecraft with you.'
'Me too,' I smiled. 'Do you want to go on a server or do you want to do something else?'
'We can go on a server and play Bedwars or something?'
'Okay,' I smiled. I clicked on the first server I saw and Clay joined too. Before we knew we got lost in our games and the time passed by really quickly. The butterflies got worse the longer I was with him and when I was a bit later in the evening, he stood up.
'I think I have to go home,' Clay smiled. 'I really enjoyed today with you.'
'Me too,' I giggled with a blush on my face. 'Are you keeping the nail polish on?'
'For now,' he smiled and I nodded. I wanted to hug him, but I didn't want to make him uncomfortable. I ended up waving at him when he walked away with the biggest smile on my face ever.
