Clay's POV

When I came home yesterday, I had told my parents a lot about the school, but also about George. I saw them frowning a little and at one point they pointed out I had a girlfriend. I got scared they realised I liked George so I left to go upstairs quickly.

The next day had passed by slowly and after school I started looking for George so we could go to that group together. I saw him sitting in front of my classroom and smiled at him. My cheeks heated up again as soon as he smiled back and grabbed my hand.

He wasn't wearing makeup today, although he was wearing nail polish and was just as gorgeous as always. It made me smile to only look at him.

'Come, are you ready?' George asked excitedly.

'I am, what do I have to do there?'

'We just discuss a bit about how we can make the school more and more accepting, so everyone feels comfortable here. We have one pride day where we barely have any classes where we just show how we support everyone.'

'That sounds great.'

'It is!' George smiled and he started walking a bit faster.

We arrived at the classroom we had to be in and George opened the door, letting me go in first. I saw around fifteen students, maybe even more, and two teachers sitting down. They all looked at me.

George noticed me getting a bit shy and smiled. 'This is Clay, I invited him since he's new at school.'

'That's amazing, sit down, Clay!'

I sat down next to George and saw Sapnap looking at me. 'Are you also part of the LGBTQ+?'

I shrugged. 'I don't know if I'm honest, I could. I just don't know. I think that when I look back on it, I might have had feelings for boys, but I have a girlfriend now.'

'That's cool!' Bad said. 'Do you think you might be bisexual or something like that?'

'I don't know, I have never spoken about this,' I muttered.

'I'm really glad you have the courage to be this open with us!' one of the teachers said. 'Are you feeling a bit uncomfortable?'

'I kind of regret saying that now,' I mumbled. 'I don't like to label it.'

'That's totally fine, Clay. We don't have to talk about it at all,' the other teacher said.

I nodded thankfully and looked down at my knees. I had basically come out when I wasn't even sure myself what was going on. I just felt comfortable here, but not comfortable enough to tell them I kind of had no feelings for girls. I was going to tell my girlfriend soon and just hope she was going to be fine with it.

The time flew by and before I knew I was walking to George's place. He looked at me and smiled. 'I'm proud of you that you dared to tell everyone you have had feelings for boys.'

'I'm not even sure about that, it could have been friendly feelings,' I smiled.

George nodded. 'Of course, I'm not labelling you! I'm just proud you dared to say that.'

I smiled and George did the same as he pointed to his house. 'That's where I live.'

I nodded and George opened the door as he immediately walked to his mum to give her a hug. I smiled and walked closer once they broke the hug. I shook his mum's hand with a smile on my face.

'I'm Clay!'

'Nice to meet you, I'm George's mother. You can just call me Ella.'

I nodded and she smiled. 'When George told me someone new was coming over, I had to make a good impression of course. I bought some biscuits and I have some drinks for you.'

'That's really sweet,' I smiled.

'Would you like a biscuit?'

I nodded. 'Sure, sounds good.'

George's mum gave me a biscuit and showed me some drinks. I chose one and sat down with George on the couch. I kept looking at him in the corner of my eyes and I started liking him more and more. I had to tell my girlfriend as fast as possible, I only didn't really know how.

We had a relationship for at least two years now and I appeared to have feelings for boys, probably only boys. I really hoped she wasn't going to get mad at me, although I would understand if she did after being in a relationship with a girl when I only liked boys.

'Clay?' I suddenly heard George's voice.

'Yeah?'

'Are you alright? You zoned out.'

'Oh, sorry. I zone out more often.'

'Okay, I'm sorry,' George smiled.

'No worries.'

'Can I show you my room? It's not that interesting actually, but I just want to show you.'

'Yes, of course. I would love to see it.'

We stood up and George led the way, pushing a door open when we came upstairs. 'I cleaned for you this morning. After you told me about your ADD, I read some things about it on the internet and I have made my room as calm as I could so you won't get distracted by everything you see.'

'Aww, that's so sweet. Thank you.'

'No problem, I like to help you as much as I can.'

I smiled and giggled shyly as George stood up. 'What would you like to do? I could paint your nails,' he giggled. 'But you absolutely don't have to if that's not your style. We can also play some video games, you can choose.'

'You can paint my nails, but I don't know if I'll keep wearing it. I won't usually wear it to school, not because I think it's for girls or something.'

'You don't have to explain yourself, it's totally fine to not like it.'

'You can paint them for now though, I'm interested in how it will look.'

George giggled. 'I'm a professional, just saying.' He stood up and walked to his desk to grab some colours. 'I have no idea what colour these are, but you can choose.'
