Clay's POV

George and I cuddled up with each other for minutes as we just enjoyed watching the clouds slowly moving. I constantly had butterflies filling my stomach more and more the longer I was holding George tightly against my body.

We laid like this for minutes longer, until we heard a voice only I knew. It was Wilbur, he was on my football team. I quickly let go of George and stood up as he smiled at me and George.

'So, so,' he giggled. 'What's this about?'

George stood up too and I blushed. 'We were watching the sky.'

'In each other's arms?'

'We just uh- I was just cold.'

'Calm down, Clay. It's fine if you like boys or anything. You're still just as welcome in our team.'

'I don't have a relationship or anything with George, I just uh-.'

'That's fine,' Wilbur smiled. 'I'm not saying that you like boys, I just saw you cuddle and I thought you were cuddling with your boyfriend.'

'No, he's uh- just a friend,' I muttered. 'I uh- I do well- like boys though. I just wanted to say that.'

'I'm proud of you,' Wilbur said and he opened his arms to hug me. I gave him a short hug and he smiled. 'I don't mind any sexuality you are, all are great. Everyone will accept you.'

'I find it a bit hard to talk about,' I mumbled.

'Does Hannah know?'

'Yes, we broke up.'

'Oh, are you okay?'

'We broke up in a good way. I told her I'm gay and she supports me a lot. She was happy I told her and she was happy that I didn't lie about it.'

Wilbur nodded. 'It must have been really hard to tell her after those years of being together.'

'It was, but she was very accepting and sweet.'

'I'm glad, and who are you?' Wilbur asked George.

'I'm George,' he smiled.

'How have you met?'

'We are at the same school,' I smiled.

'Cool! George, I love your nail polish.'

'Makeup is cool,' George smiled with a confident smile on his face.

Wilbur nodded. 'Sure, it's not my style, but it's so cool when I see other boys wearing it.'

'I'm just a tiny bit gay,' George giggled.

We all laughed a bit and Wilbur smiled. 'I'm heading to my grandma's house now, see you.'

'Bye,' we both said and George looked at me.

'I'm proud of you, Clay,' he said.

I smiled and shrugged. 'I sounded way too nervous, I don't think I did a really great job on coming out.'

George grabbed my hand and smiled. 'You did amazing, Clay. I was nervous as well when I came out to my mum.'

I nodded and sighed deeply. 'Another game?' I asked as I threw the ball in the air, catching it after.

'Sure,' George smiled and I ran back to the grass field. We started playing a little bit again and after a while George got a bit better at it. He genuinely tried his best and I had a lot of fun.

After a bit I tried stealing the ball off of him, but I tripped. I fell down on the ground and I looked up, wheezing loudly. George giggled and he tried lifting me up, but he gave up after a while. 'I can't lift you up, I'm either way too weak or you're just too heavy.'

'Probably both.'

George giggled and sat down on the ground. 'I'll just sit here instead of lifting you up, I'm exhausted.'

'You're a baby,' I giggled.

'Oh shut up, I never do anything in my life. How do you expect I won't get tired from this? And with that, you run so fast since your legs are twice as long as mine.'

I giggled and grabbed his hand, pulling him down next to me. 'Just lay down in my arms, you baby.'

George giggled. 'I'm not going to argue.' He laid down, resting his head on my chest.

I pulled him closer against my body and our legs as well as our hands intertwined now. I smiled the whole time as we were cuddled up and after a short period of ten minutes, I heard George breathing a bit slower and louder. I noticed he had fallen asleep in my arms and smiled shyly. He was really cute and definitely now he was sleeping in my arms.

George slept in my arms for at least half an hour and woke up a bit confused. 'Where are we?'

'We are basically on the ground in some random grass field.'

George giggled. 'Why?'

'You fell asleep when we were watching the clouds and sky.'

He nodded slowly. 'I'm sorry,' he said as he stood up. 'Are you cold or anything?'

'I'm not,' I smiled. 'No need to apologise, I let you sleep.'

George nodded and smiled. 'Shall we go back to your place?'

'Might be the best thing to do, you seem exhausted.'

'I just don't have stamina since I don't do any sports.'

I nodded and suddenly had a tiny bit of confidence. I looked at George and smiled. 'Would you like to uh- stay with me on Saturday to Sunday?'

'At night?'

'You don't have to, it was just an idea. We don't know each other for that long, it was a stupid idea. Forget it.'

George smiled and grabbed my hand. 'I would love to stay with you. We can get to know each other better too then.'

I smiled. 'Thanks for not finding it dumb, I just like hanging out with you.'

'I like hanging out with you too,' George smiled and we started walking home.

When we were walking for a bit, I softly touched his hand with my pinky. I acted like it was a mistake, but George grabbed my hand. We walked home with our fingers locked and I had a big smile and blush on my face. I was incredibly in love with him.
