Clay's POV
After I came out I felt way better, I wasn't nervous or scared anymore. I just felt really loved.
A few days had passed, I had my football training and it was currently Saturday afternoon. I was standing in front of the door to wait for George. I had prepared everything, I bought us food and drinks. I had even bought Netflix so we could watch a movie if he wanted to. I also had popcorn and I had been cleaning my room for an hour. I had laid down a small bed on the ground, but I secretly hoped he would lay down next to me.
When it was three pm, the doorbell rang and I immediately opened the door. George smiled at me and I let him go in.
'How are you?' I smiled happily.
'I'm great now I'm here,' George smiled and he looked at my sister running to him.
'Hi,' she said as she stood in front of George. My sister was still really young, she was five.
'Hello,' George smiled.
'I like your nails,' my sister muttered as she showed George her nails after that. 'Pink.'
'I love them! You're great at it, aren't you?'
I found it even more adorable that George knew how to talk to kids and I watched him with a smile on my face. George lifted my sister up and let her sit down on his lap.
'You are sweet,' my sister said. 'Do you have a girlfriend?'
'I don't, I'm gay.'
Drista looked at him in confusion. 'What does that mean?'
'I don't fall in love with a girl, but with a boy!'
'Okay,' Drista nodded. 'Can I still be your girlfriend?'
George giggled. 'You will be my girlfriend.'
Drista nodded and hugged George. 'Guess who has been replaced,' I giggled.
'What's the difference between falling in love with a boy and with a girl?'
'It means that I fall in love with the same gender as I am,' George smiled. 'Mostly a girl likes a boy and a boy likes a girl, right? At least that's what you get told at that age.'
Drista nodded.
'Only I don't like girls, so in my scenario a boy likes a boy.'
'Okay, I don't think there is a problem with that,' she said.
'There isn't a problem with that at all, Drista,' George smiled. 'Do you like doing makeup?'
Drista nodded heavily. 'I always dress up like a princess, but mum says I'm too young to do makeup alone.'
'I will help you, okay? I'm going to give your brother a hug now, because he will feel left out otherwise.'
I giggled and George stood up to give me a hug. He grabbed my hand and made me sit down on the couch.
'Makeup, makeup, makeup!' Drista yelled.
George looked at me and I giggled. 'Go ahead, I won't stop you.'
George nodded and grabbed Drista's hand. My parents had just been smiling the whole time in the background and they called me back when George and Drista went upstairs.
'George is actually a lovely guy,' my mum said. 'Do you like him a little?'
I choked on my own spit and started coughing loudly. 'I don't, shut up.'
'We are totally fine with him wearing makeup and with him being gay, we would be totally fine if you were the same.'
'I'm going upstairs,' I said to quickly escape the conversation and I ran to George. He was removing Drista's old nail polish to put new one on and he looked at me.
'What's wrong?'
'They asked me if I'm gay, it might be better to tell them soon. I want them to hear it from me and not figure it out.'
Drista looked at me. 'You're also gay?'
I giggled. 'I am, I also fall in love with boys.'
'So you are boyfriends?' Drista pointed at us both.
'We aren't boyfriends,' I giggled.
'Yet,' George said with a playful grin on his face. 'Your brother is really handsome, don't you think, Drista?'
I blushed brightly and Drista nodded. 'I think my brothers are the best brothers in the world.'
'Aww, that's sweet of you,' George smiled.
I gave Drista a short hug and smiled at her too. 'You're the best sister, Drista.'
Drista smiled. 'Why aren't you boyfriends?'
I didn't want to answer, but so didn't George apparently. It was a bit quiet in the room and George cleared his throat. 'We don't know each other that well yet.'
Drista nodded and concentrated on George looking at her nails. 'What colour?'
'Rainbow!'
'Clay, I need some assistance,' George giggled. 'Colourblind.'
I nodded and grabbed the red first, giving it to him. I continued doing that until he had painted the rainbow on Drista's nails and he did her makeup after. Of course he didn't do anything big since she was just five, but she loved it and hugged George after. Drista left to go downstairs and George smiled at me as he fell down on my bed.
'Are you actually letting me sleep on that thing there when we already slept in each other's arms?'
I giggled. 'You're free to sleep in my bed if you want.'
'With you in it too?'
'Well, if you uh- don't mind.'
'I don't mind,' George smiled.
'Do you actually mean the things you say to me and others?'
'What did I say?' George asked.
'That you think I'm handsome.'
'Oh, yes I mean that. You're really handsome.'
I blushed and turned away from him to hide my face. He giggled. 'I saw your red cheeks already.'
'You're colourblind, bitch.'
George giggled. 'I see red as kind of brownish and I know it's weird to have brown cheeks. With that I'm not dumb and I know cheeks get red when someone blushes.'
'Fine,' I said as I rolled my eyes. 'Idiot.'
'I'm leaving if you aren't nice to me.'
'Threats,' I giggled. 'But fine, I'll be nice. I don't want you to leave.'
George giggled and I rolled my eyes again.
