George's POV

I was a bit flustered when I noticed how much work Clay had put in our sleepover. Later in the evening he had put on a movie, I was allowed to choose one and I had chosen a romantic one. It was about two boys falling in love and I was basically hinting towards Clay that I had fallen in love with him.

Clay didn't really get the hint, but he did cuddle up with me. We watched the movie in each other's arms and when it finished, we had fallen asleep as we cuddled.

I woke up late the next morning and Clay was still sleeping. I was resting my head on his chest and he had his arm around my shoulders, our legs were intertwined and my hand was resting on his chest next to my head. I didn't feel like moving and cuddled up with him even more as I looked up to admire his face.

Clay woke up ten minutes after me and his face heated up as he realised our position. 'Uh- sorry, did I do this?'

I shrugged. 'We both cuddled up with each other and I'm comfortable, I don't want you to leave,' I muttered as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

Clay giggled and held me tightly. 'I'm comfortable too,' he smiled. 'Have you had any sleep?'

'I have, I slept all night. You?'

'Me too,' Clay smiled. 'George, can I ask you something?'

'You can.'

'I want to come out to my parents, I'm only very scared.'

'I'll help,' I smiled and sat up. 'When?'

'As fast as possible, I don't want to stress all day.'

'Do you think they are awake?'

'Yes, they are up early every day.'

'Well, shall we go then?'

Clay nodded and after I threw some water on my face and brushed my hair, just as Clay did, we walked downstairs.

'Hi boys! Did you sleep well?'

I nodded and so did Clay, but he shrugged after and sighed. 'I have to tell you something. I told you that I would tell you the reason I broke up with Hannah someday and I think that day is today.'

His parents nodded and we sat down. Clay watched his hands and he sighed. 'Basically, I didn't lie about what I said. I didn't have feelings for her, but I never had. I didn't know that myself either, until I figured out I uh- I like boys. I'm gay.' Clay looked at his parents and stood up. 'Okay, that's the news, I'm going to run away now.'

I giggled and Clay was in the middle of walking away as his dad stood up. 'You don't have to run away, it's fine.'

Clay turned around with a red face and he shrugged. 'I'm embarrassed.'

'There's no need to be embarrassed, sit down.' Clay's dad smiled at Clay and pointed at the couch. Clay walked back slowly and sat down, looking down at his hands.

'It's totally fine that you're gay. Does Hannah know?'

'Yes, I broke up with her and told her that I'm gay. I have never felt more than friendship for her, but I didn't know that at that point.'

'I'm glad she was understanding and it's really brave that you dared to tell her.'

Clay smiled and sighed. 'Do you still like me?' he whispered with a slightly high pitched voice. It sounded like he was fighting against his tears.

'Of course we still like you, honey,' his mum said as she stood up to hug Clay.

Clay let out a careful sob and wiped a tear away. 'I was actually very scared telling you. You were so proud and happy for me when I had Hannah, I was so scared you wouldn't be proud anymore when I'm going to come home with a boy one day.'

'If you truly love a boy, I don't mind at all. I just want you to be happy.'

'I'm not happy with a girl,' Clay muttered.

His dad hugged him too now and Clay smiled. 'Sorry for crying, I was just so scared.'

'That's totally fine, sweetie,' his mum said. 'Coming out must be really difficult.'

We both nodded and his parents looked at me. 'You're gay too, right?'

I nodded and smiled.

'Is this also the moment you are going to tell us that you're together?'

'DAD,' Clay yelled. 'It's not. That we are both gay doesn't mean we are together.'

His dad grinned. 'Sure.'

Clay rolled his eyes. 'George, it's time to leave.'

'It is,' I giggled as I stood up, running after Clay. We went upstairs and laid down in his bed.

'I'm glad they replied well,' I smiled.

Clay just nodded, he seemed to have sunken deep in his thoughts. I just left him for a bit and grabbed my phone, but after a while Clay scooted closer to me. He didn't say anything, rested his head on my chest and curled up, hugging me tightly. I smiled as I scrolled through my Instagram page and Clay watched with me as we cuddled.

After a while I put my phone down and wrapped my arms around Clay too. 'Are you uncomfortable?' Clay whispered with a questioning tone in his voice.

'Not at all, I'm really relaxed,' I smiled.

Clay giggled and looked at me. 'You look amazing today.'

I blushed and smiled shyly. 'You're just saying that, you don't mean it.'

'I mean it, you're gorgeous.'

'You already are,' I giggled.

We both smiled and Clay looked up, resting his face in front of mine as he stared into my eyes. We kept staring at each other as I felt Clay grab my hand a few seconds later. We smiled and Clay cuddled up with me again.

I couldn't stop smiling as he grabbed his laptop later to put on a movie. We watched the movie as we had cuddled up with each other, both with an obvious blush on our face.
