Avery's POV-

We have been going for days. After I told Sarah, she went into 'hibernation' and hasn't come out since. I only see her when I need to sleep or eat. That's when I go back there. She hardly moves and she doesn't talk. I feel bad for the girl. Having her mother murdered by her step-father, then finding out her step-father is a guard for Herobrine. That's tough. Really tough. I'm still in shock about Jonah. I will miss his goofy faces, or his amazing smile, his blue eyes, his blonde hair. No stop. I can't think like that, he is a traitor. I hate him. I hate him with all my heart.
"Avery?" I heard a faint voice from the back of the wagon call. I pulled over and went back to the back.
"Sarah!" I exclaimed and hugged her, "Are you ok?"
She hugged me back and let out a sniffle, "N- no..." Once again poor girl. I don't think she will ever be the same again.
"I know. But I'm here for you." I let go and smiled. "Just think of it as having a new sister that you're moving in with ok?" I asked trying to brighten the mood. She smiled at me and nodded.
"I'm sorry I have not talked or moved or anything.... I just can't believe what has happened these past few days." She said starting to tear up again.
"It's ok. You're young and you've been through so much. Take as much time as you need." I told her. She smiled again.
"Thank you Avery. You're like a big sister. I love you!" she said hugging me. I hugged her back.
"I love you too."
After that I let her go. I went back to steer and we made pretty good progress. We soon came upon a old farm house that looked abandoned. It was still in pretty nice shape so I pulled over and we went to investigate. It was abandoned, but it had to have just been abandoned recently because there were still animals in the barn and pastors. I smiled. I had always wanted a farm house and now I get to share it with... my new little sister.
"Sarah come on out! I found us a home." I yelled happily. She climbed out and looked around and squealed of happiness, "I'm gonna be a farm girl!"
I laughed and said, "Yes. Yes you are." She ran up and hugged me. We grabbed our suitcases and went inside. I liked it. It was still furnished, and there was still food in the fridge and beds to sleep on. I placed some torches because I don't think there is electricity but we are still quite lucky with everything else we have in this house. We walked upstairs and found 4 bedrooms. I took the larger one and she took the second largest. It was quite nice. I looked around for a little bit, then decided to go check on Sarah. She had been in her room exploring. I found her asleep on the bed. Out like a light. It was the most peaceful sleep I had seen her in for days. I smiled and went to my room and curled up in the bed, deciding I was going to un-pack tomorrow. It was cozy and it reminded me of home. Home. I miss it. I hope mother and father are doing okay. I pictured them happy and forgot about me. I went to sleep with the thought that I know they will be safe from all this harm and that makes me happy.
