Avery's POV
The world was dizzy at first coming out of the portal.
"Man I hate portal's." I mumbled, stumbling and tipping over a little while trying to walk.
I heard a chuckle, and looked up.
I wasn't surprised by what I saw.
A guard.
Herobrine's guard to be exact.
"Portals have never been my thing either." The guard said stepping closer.
I looked down and saw a diamond sword in his hand.
He took another step closer and the sword shimmered while he took his step. I could see my reflection in it. I was awed, but I snapped out of it. I had to focus on what was at hand.
The guard.
I was faced with a problem... he had a sword.
I had nothing.
He had full diamond armor.
Enchanted.
I had nothing.
Yeah..... this wasn't going to end well.
I guess I could stall.
"What are you going to do? Kill me?" I asked.
There was a muffled chuckle.
It was probably muffled. Because all that was showing were his eyes.
His helmet was covering the rest of his face.
"No I can't kill you yet. You have to suffer. That is the point of being taken by a guard." The guard said.
I rolled my eyes. "So you're just going to take me? I thought guards liked fights to take their victims." I said.
Stall stall stall.
"Well you're right. I'm happy you said that. I do like a fight." He said and before I could say anything else he threw me a sword.
I caught it by the handle and slashed the air.
"Nice catch." The guard chuckled. "I'm soooo scared. You know how to slay the air." The guard finished sarcastically.
I smiled, but quickly let it fade away. The sarcasm reminded me of someone, but I don't know who. "Well that was the hardest part in training."
This stall thing is working out better than I thought.
I stepped forward with my sword and slashed the air again.
The guard took this time of me trying to show off and lashed out at me, cutting my arm, drawling a little blood. I winced, but kept fighting.
No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't hurt him. He laughed every time I tried to hurt him, and it was really starting to annoy me.
"Give up?" He asked.
"Never!" I shot back and tried to cut him again. I lashed at his face this time, cutting nothing, but making a little piece of blond hair fall out.
I was now close enough to see right into his eyes.
Blue.
A pretty blue, if I may add.
Blonde hair, blue eyes. The perfect mix.
"Oh look you made my hair fall. How nice of you, love." He said, putting emphasis on the word love.
I stepped back.
Love.
Blue eyes.
Blonde hair.
I only know one guard who calls people love, has blue eyes, and blonde hair.
One traitor.
Jonah.
I took another step back.
"Jonah."
"Ah! Look who finally figured it out! Took you long enough!" I could hear the smirk in Jonah's voice.
I was speechless. Jonah.
Jonah took this opportunity of me being out of it to jump at me.
I tried to dodge, but I was too slow. He grabbed me and flung me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
The sword dropped from my hands when he threw me, so I just pounded on his back, but he only laughed at my efforts.
We walked for a little while, me non- stop pounding on his back, until we finally arrived.
It looked like I was in a throne room of some sort. He sat me down and grabbed my arms so I couldn't run off.
I heard a dark laugh from the other side of the room. A laugh that could only belong to one person.
Herobrine.
"Well, we sure picked a feisty one." Herobrine said to Jonah.
"Yes, master. We did." Jonah responded.
It made me sick.
"Have I told you lately that you will make a great guard, trainee?" Herobrine smirked.
Jonah bowed, still having a grip on me. "Thank you, master."
"Now." Herobrine smirked and turned to me. "This is little Ashley." He walked over to me.
"It's Avery now!" I spat back.
"Names? They don't really matter. Speaking of names." Herobrine said, stepping back. "Speaking of names... what was the name of the little girl that you had with you? Oh, I know. Sarah." He gave me an evil smirk.
A pang of hurt and anger slew through me. "What did you do to her?!" I hissed.
He smirked again. "Why don't you see for yourself?
Oh Sarah!"
I looked to the only opening besides the front door.
Sarah walked out. At first, I was overjoyed, until I got a closer look at her.
All emotion was gone from her face. Her clothes were torn and dirty, but that wasn't what really bothered me.
Her eyes.
They were white and soul-less.
Jonah must have seen my next move because he let go of me as I fell to the floor. I was on my knees, staring to the little girl I once knew as Sarah. The little girl I had lost forever.
"You know it's funny." Herobrine said, smirking at me. "She was so defiant before... and now? Well.. now she does what ever I ask."
Anger boiled inside of me. I glared at Herobrine, to see him glance at Jonah. Before I could do anything else, Jonah grabbed me and forced me to my feet again. I lashed out with no luck. Jonah's grip was too strong.
I wanted to cry, but I wouldn't. I wouldn't let Herobrine or Jonah see me cry. I just wouldn't.
"And do you know what I want Sarah to do right now?" Heorbrine asked looking at Sarah then back to me.
I glared at Herobrine, but then brought my gaze back to Sarah, or what used to be Sarah.
Heorbrine teleported over to Sarah and put his hands on her shoulder. Her eyes glowed a bright white for a second then went back to plain white as soon as Herobrine touched her.
"Get your hands off her!" I screamed at Herobrine.
He chuckled, but continued talking as if I had said nothing.
"It's a very simple command too."
I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach now.
"Attack."
Sarah's eyes glowed a bright white one last time, and then...
She lunged.
------------
SOO. That's what happened to Sarah. Now you know. I know it's been killing you. Lol.
I hope you liked this chapter, even though Sarah is now under Herobrine's control.
Welp that's about it.
Rachel out.
