Avery's POV

"Sis-sister?" I stuttered.
Sarah's step-father smirked. "Yes. Sister."
Herobrine stepped forward. "Avery. Meet your long lost, older brother."
"I- I have a brother?" I was shocked.
Mom and dad never told me about a brother.
"Yes, you do. Let me introduce myself. Like I said, my name is Benson. I was Lucy and David Dollie's first born son. When I was fifteen I followed some of my friends into the Nether. It turns out, my friends were guards for Herobrine.
Mom never knew this, but I hated my life with them. So when Master Herobrine offered me a better life here as a guard, I took it. Mom and dad had you a few years later." Benson explained.
"Wh-what? You're lying."
"Does it look like I'm lying?" Benson yelled.
I flinched. "No. It doesn't."
"That's because I'm not." Benson exclaimed.
Why would any brother of mine act like this.
"Mom and dad raised me right, what happened to you?" I asked, cockily.
Benson grew angry. "They treated me like I was three. Even when I was fifteen, they still treated me like a freaken three year old."
"Short temper much?" I coughed.
"What was that?" His eyes narrowed.
"Nothing." I mumbled.
"Well. I'll leave you two to catch up. After all, you are long lost siblings." Herobrine smirked. "Jonah. Let's go. Bring the little girl."
Jonah nodded and started to walk out, bringing Sarah with him.
"No!" I yelled, and lunged to Sarah.
In any heroic movie, I would have been able to grab Sarah, and we would have escaped together. Then we would have lived happily ever after.

But I'm not in a heroic movie.

As my luck would have it, Benson grabbed me in mid-air.
"Awe. Where you going sis? I've never met you and your leaving so soon!" I could heard the smirk in his voice.
"Let. Me. Go." I growled.
"Short temper much?" Benson exclaimed, copying me from earlier.
"No. But when my loved ones are in trouble, I don't care who it is. No one is going to stop me. Not even my own flesh and blood." I started struggling.
The more I struggled the tighter his grip got. "Oh. I think your own flesh and blood is going to stop you. You're not going anywhere, dear sister."
Before I knew what hit me, I was tied to a chair.
"Let. Me. Go!" I screamed, trying to get out of the chair.
"For the last time, no!" Benson screamed back. "If you say that one more time I will personally kill the brat myself!"
I quietly sat back. "Wh- why would you do this?"
"I already told you. I hated my life." He stared at me.
"But why couldn't you just leave my family alone."
Benson smirked. "It's our family, and I didn't want to leave you alone, because I want them to suffer. You are an offspring of them, so I want you to suffer as well."
"Well then, take Sarah out of it! She has nothing to do with any of this." I exclaimed.
Benson once again smirked. "Oh, but she does. In so many ways. For example, now, because of her, you're much more easier to control. You know if you don't, Sarah will get hurt. We don't want that. Do we?"
I looked at the ground. "No."
"Call me sir." I could hear the smirk in his voice.
"No, sir."
"That's right."
"Just please, sir." Sir was said bitterly, "Let Sarah go."
Benson rolled his eyes. "Is that all you are going to talk about? Sarah, this. Sarah, that. I will hurt, even kill her if I have to." Benson warned.
I slowly sat back in my chair.
Benson was pacing around the room, and there was a long, awkward moment of silence.
"You know, I volunteered."
I looked up at him. "What?"
"I volunteered. To kill the brat's mother. Act as her step father. All that. I wanted to do it. I wanted to see my family suffer."
"You've already said this." I mumbled.
"I wanted to make it clear. Master did not assign me this. I volunteered." He continued.
Benson had said this so many times. I honestly didn't care if he volunteered or not, but I didn't dare tell him that. He would hurt Sarah.
I didn't respond and there was another long and awkward moment of silence. It was broken by something I didn't want to hear.
"AHHHH!" I heard a scream from the other room.
My eyes almost popped out of my head. I sat up the best I could in the restrained chair. "Sarah!" I yelled.
Benson rolled his eyes. "If you can't get Sarah getting hurt out of your mind. I'll make you." He walked out.
I didn't really want to know what he was going to do. But I felt I would need to. Whether I wanted to or not.
I sat in silence thinking of all the possible scenarios of what Benson could be doing. Most to all the outcomes were not good.
I heard heavy footsteps coming from the door, Benson had left.
He returned dragging Sarah behind.
She was pale, and bloody. Her eyes were wide, and she looked paralyzed with fear.
Benson dropped her on the ground. He smirked, "You won't have to worry about her getting hurt anymore." He paused and drew out his sword.
Before I could say anything he stabbed Sarah, right in the heart.
She collapsed onto the floor of Herobrine's thrown room, and her breathing slowly got slower, then stopped all together.
"SARAH!" I screamed, at the top of my lunges.

I was still screaming.
I knew I was.
But I couldn't hear it.
I couldn't hear anything.
I couldn't feel it.
I couldn't feel anything.
Everything was happening in slow motion.
My head hung down as my eyes welled up with tears, but I quickly blinked them away.
Sarah.
Sarah is dead.
I slowly looked up at Benson.
"You won't have to worry about her getting hurt, because now.... she's dead." He smirked.
I glared, but was now only staring. Staring right past him into nothing.
I was in shock.
He actually killed her.
Sweet Sarah.
I was still staring, trying not to look at the bloody, dead Sarah, but no matter how hard I tried me eyes kept wandering back to the dead little girl.
The little girl.... that was my sister.
I looked over to Herobrine, who I hadn't even realized had walked into the room.
I saw his mouth move, but I couldn't hear anything coming out of his mouth.
I saw Jonah nod, and walk over to me.
He smirked, pulled out his sword, and hit my upside the head.
Hard.
Slowly my eyes started to close, and I was consumed into a pit of darkness.
----------------
Ahhh! I can't believe I just did that. I know I said I didn't kill her earlier, and I didn't. I just had to wait until now.
Anyway, there's one more chapter left, and then the epilogue.
THEN THE SEQUEL!
Still looking for suggestions on the name. I'm leaning more toward, A New World. (Why I'm picking that will make more sense next chapter.)
Well, that's about it.
Sorry if anyone is crying about Sarah. I know. Too many feels.
Anyway.
Rachel out.
