Avery's POV
I slowly opened my eyes. I must not have been out long, because Herobrine wasn't back yet, and Sarah was still on the ground, knocked out.
I tried to sit up, but found I really couldn't.
"Ah, look. She's awake." I heard Jonah mumble before I was lifted off the ground, back into a sitting position.
I didn't know if I could talk so I decided to try. "Sarah." I mumbled.
Well at least I could speak. I don't know how, considering all that my mouth and face had been through.
"She's still knocked out. I don't know what you did, but if she's not under Master Herobrine's control when she wakes up. Prepare for the worst. For both of you." Just as Jonah said that I heard a small groan.
Sarah had moved and groaned. Her eyes slowly opened. I couldn't see if they were still white or if they were back to her normal brown, but by the way she groaned I was hoping she was back. I completely ignored Jonah's warning. What does he know?
She slowly sat up and blinked.
I saw the little pupils that are suppose to be in eyes, and the brown coloring around it.
I smiled.
"Avery? Avery where are we?" She asked quietly, looking at the ground.
I looked up at Jonah, who was staring at Sarah in shock. Before I could answer Sarah, Jonah let go of me and seized Sarah.
"Sarah!" I yelled trying to run for her. I failed. I still couldn't move.
"Ha. Good luck trying. You can't move." Jonah exclaimed, pulling out his sword.
He placed it by Sarah's neck.
"Now. You're going to be a good girl and stay right there, Avery. Or your little friend gets it."
"Fine." I mumbled. "It's not like I can move anyway."
"What was that?" He asked.
I heard a little gasp, and saw that he had pushed the sword a little farther into Sarah's neck. "What was that?" He repeated.
"Nothing!" I yelled quickly, my eyes growing wide.
Sarah, with wide eyes, finally looked up and studied me. "Avery. What happened?" She asked, worry clear in her voice.
"Don't worry about it I-"
"What do you mean she got out, trainee!" Herobrine screamed, interrupting me, while storming into the room.
Jonah looked over. "I mean what I said. She got out of your spell. She's back to normal."
Herobrine shook his head, like he was trying to clear it.
"Keep her there. I'll deal with her later." He turned to me, smirking. "Now. I'm back with your visitor, but I would like to see the the damage your dear Sarah did before she got out of my spell closer. I never got a good look at it." He teleported over to me.
He first looked at my arm, and smirked. "Good. You can't really fight back now." I ignored him. He grunted, but continued to looked.
Herobrine seemed to be enjoying all the pain that Sarah had put me through.
He finally went to my jaw.
Holding my jaw in his hand, he moved my head back and forth, looking at it. I winced in pain.
Herobrine laughed. "It's a shame Sarah didn't break that pretty little jaw of yours. It would be so much easier if you couldn't talk."
"Well I can, and you will have to deal with it!" I exclaimed. I then spit in his eye.
He scowled, dropping my jaw. "Why you little-"
"Master. The visitor." Jonah said, interrupting Herobrine.
Herobrine wiped his face, and sighed, "You're right. The visitor." he started pacing back and forth. "It's someone you've already met. And it's someone you're related to. But the thing is. You don't know you're related to this person." He stopped and smirked at me again.
I was confused. Someone I've met, and someone I'm related to, but I don't know I'm related to them?
"It's a guard. And it's been one for oh 17 years or so." he continued.
I still had no idea what he was talking about, and I don't understand why Herobrine is referring to this person as an 'it'. Maybe he just didn't want to give any hints that would give it away. For example the gender. Even if I did know what gender this person was, I still wouldn't know who Herobrine was talking about.
I looked up at him and he went on, "You know, Avery. The person was about the same age as you. Fifteen, correct? You're fifteen."
I didn't answer.
He teleported over to Sarah, and grabbed her out of Jonah's hand.
Holding her by the neck he said, "Answer me or Sarah gets it."
My eyes went wide. "Yes! I'm fifteen! Just don't hurt her!"
Herobrine smirk, and handed her back to Jonah.
"Good girl. Now this person was about fifteen when it became a guard."
"So is this you hinting your going to turn me into a guard?" I asked.
Herobrine laughed darkly, "No. I have something else planned you for." He started pacing again. I don't know what it is with his pacing. He seems to do it a lot. "Any idea?"
I shook my head no. I didn't want to answer, but I knew he would hurt Sarah if I didn't.
"I want words. Not gestures."
"No. I have no idea who you are talking about." I mumbled quietly.
"What was that?" He questioned, mockingly.
"No! I don't know who you are talking about." I exclaimed, through gritted teeth.
"That's better. Well. A few more clues then. Your parents never told you about this person, and this person is long forgotten." He stared at me.
I looked away. I can't stand those soul-less white eyes.
"Look at me." He commanded. I still didn't.
"LOOK AT ME!" he screamed.
I slowly turned my head, and looked at him.
"Good. Now don't stop looking at me. Don't turn away." Herobrine commanded again.
I don't want to listen to him. I don't want to do anything he tells me to do. But for Sarah's sake. I must.
"Do you know yet?" He asked.
"No." I sighed. I mean, how does he expect me to know who it is if my parents never talked about this person.
"I want more than one word."
He is so demanding! I don't understand why I just can't answer with one word!
"No. I still do not know who you are talking about." I said,
irritated.
Herobrine sighed, exasperated again. "Fine. I guess it's time to call out this person." He smirked. "Come on out!"
I looked at the door.
Sarah's step-father walked out.
"Well hello, little sister." He smirked at me, evil in his eyes.
"My name's Benson."
