It's been 2 weeks and Mari's mother is on her way here. I'm lowkey nervous. Yeah, I meet her before but it's been so long since I last seen her. I don't know what to expect.

"Indigo why are sitting in the bathroom??" Mari asked standing at the door

"Oh nothing..." I said playing with my fingers

"Why are you nervous??" She asked me

"I'm not nerves..." I said clearly lying

"Indigo you are playing with your
fingers..." she pointed out cuz she knows me
"Baby, it's nothing to be nerves about..." she said walking to me

"How you know that??" I asked her as she sat on my lap facing me

"It's not like y'all having meet before..." she said looking at me

"I know that but we haven't seen each other in so long..." I said

"Look at me..." she said lifting my chin up making me look at her
"Everything is going to be fine..." she said looking in my eyes
"Okay..." she said and I nodded
"Now come eat breakfast and calm down..." she said making my smile

"I love you..." I said hugging her

"I love you too..." she said pecking my lips 3 times before she stood up

She grabbed my hand and we went downstairs. I sat at table, she sat my food in front of me and my drink. She got her food and drink then sat down. Aaliyah already had her food.

"Where's Naomi??" I asked looking at Aaliyah

"She went home for a couple of days..." Aaliyah said with a mouth full of pancakes making Mari and I laugh

"Did mom say what time she'll make it??" Mari asked Liyah

"Nah, buts she left around 4 some this morning so she should be here by 12, 1 the latest..." Liyah said and Mari nodded

We continued eating and when we finished I cleaned the kitchen up. Then I went upstairs to the room where Mari was laying on the bed playing a game on her phone.

"You not going to put some clothes on??" I asked slapping her butt

"For what??" She asked turning around looking at me

"Your mom coming..." I said laying on top of her

"She seen me like this before..." she said looking at me

"So we aren't putting on any clothes??" I asked looking up at her

"Do you wanna put clothes on??" She asked and I nodded
"Alright let's put some clothes on..." She said making me smile

She got up and we both went into the closet. I don't know if I should put jeans on. Ummmm, I'm going to put some on anyways.

"Baby you don't have to put on no jeans or nothing. We going to be in the house so dress comfortable..." she said reading my mind

"Cuz I was finna put on some jeans..." I said laughing

"Yeah I know cuz I know you..." she said smiling

I found some short pants and a white tee. Mari pulled out this jumper she be wearing. It be having her body looking right.

"You not wearing that..." I said looking at her

"Why??" She asked laughing

"Baby you know your body looks so good in the jumper. I'm not going to able to contain myself and your mom coming. Please don't wear that. Not today..." I said begging
