I was in the car waiting on Mari when my phone dinged.

MyLittleOne🗝💞: You can come get the keys and go cuz I'm staying at home...

I got out the car and went into the house. I didn't see her downstairs so I went upstairs. She was sitting on the edge of the bed on her phone.

"Why you don't wanna go??" I asked

"Cuz I'm irritating everybody. I'm feel like I'm a bother and I'm getting on your nerves so I'll just stay home by myself..." she said playing with her fingers

"Mari we don't got time to be playing. Come on so we can leave..." I said grabbing her hand but she pulled it back

"I'm not playing, I'm going to stay here..." she said looking at me

"Mari come on. We finna go get food and you haven't eaten all day. If you stay here what you gone eat??" I asked

"I'll get something delivered..." she said

"Amari..." I said looking at her

"I'm okay. I'll stay here and I'll be here when y'all get back..." she said

"We were invited how could you not show up..." I said

"Tell them I wasn't feeling good..." she said

I rubbed my face and looked at her.

"So, you really finna stay here??" I asked

"Yes..." she said

"Whatever..." I said grabbing the keys

I went downstairs, went out the door and got in the car. I started the car and was bout to pull off.
I couldn't leave her in the house feeling like she was a bother especially to me.

I cut the car off, got out the car and went back into the house. I went upstairs and she was still a sitting at the edge of the bed but she was crying. I grabbed her hand, pulled her up and pulled her against me. She snuggled into my neck. I felt her shaking against me.

"Calm down baby..." I said rubbing her back
"Breath..." I said

After a while she calm down. I raised her up and looked at her.

"Look baby you haven't been getting on my nerves or irritated me. I just have to be more patient with you. You're pregnant and I understand. Never think you are irritating me or anything. I love you and I don't want you to every think you are a bother to me..." I said looking at her with my hand on each side of her face
"Okay??" I asked

"Okay..." she said softly

"I love you..." I said kissing her forehead

"I love you too..." she said then I kissed her lips

I pulled her back into me and she wrapped her arms around my waist. We were like that for a while before my phone started ringing. I pulled it out my back pocket and it was Aaliyah. I answered and put it on speaker.

"Hello..." I answered

"Hey, y'all still coming??" She asked

I looked down at Mari and she nodded.

"Yeah, we on the way..." I said

"Alright..." she said before we hung up

I kissed her again before we headed back to the car. We headed to the restaurant. 30 minutes we made it, I helped her out the car and we went in. Aaliyah met us in the front and took us to where everybody were. We went back and everybody was looking and smiling.

"Hey..." Mari said and I waved

Naomi got up to hug Mari and dabbed me up.

"Hey, I'm Neveah. I'm Naomi's mom..." she said smiling at us

"I'm Nathan, Naomi's dad..." the dad said

"I'm Mama Ann..." her grandma said

Everybody around the table introduced themselves once Mari and I sat down.

"Well I'm Mari, Aaliyah's sister..." Mari said

"I'm Indigo, Aaliyah's sister-in-law..." I said smiling

"I heard and seen you was having a baby..." Naomi's mom said looking at Mari

"Yes, I'm having twins actually..." Mari said smiling rubbing her stomach

"Awww..." the mom and Grandma said at the same time

"You know the genders??" The grandma asked

"A Babygirl and a babyboy..." I said looking at Mari

"Oh, y'all getting the best of both worlds..." her dad said making us laugh

"Yes, we are getting the best of both worlds..." Mari said

"Well, we all wish you a successful and safe rest of your pregnancy and delivery..." her grandma said smiling at us

"Thank you..." Mari said

The waiter came and took everybody's drink order. Aaliyah reach over to touch Mari's belly.

"Hey, I wanted to apologize about earlier..." Aaliyah said looking at Mari

Earlier she yelled at Mari and almost made her cry.

"It's okay..." Mari said rubbing her knee and smiling at her

Aaliyah laid her head on Mari's shoulder still rubbing her belly.

"I'm so ready to meet them..." Aaliyah said

"Me too..." I said looking at Mari

The waiter brung out our drinks and we sat at the table just talking. Naomi family was really cool. Everybody was cool and funny ass shit. In the middle of me talking to Naomi's dad, Mari tapped me. I turned to look at her.

"Baby come with me to the bathroom..." she said and I nodded

"I'll be back..." I told her dad and he nodded

I got up, helped her up and we went to the bathroom. We went to the bathroom and went to the big stall. I had to help her outta them panties cuz she was finna pee on herself. She let out a loud sigh once she started peeing.

"It's like when I have to pee, they know cuz they be right there on my bladder..." she said wiping herself

"They be wanted you to pee yourself all the time..." I said laugh

"When they came out imma tell me how they be embarrassing me when it come to having to pee..." she said laugh

We fixed her clothes back, left out the stall and she washed her hand. We left out and went to the table. We gave the waiter our food order. When they brought the food out, we ate, we stayed for a lil while just talking then we all left and went home. When we made it home, Mari was sleep so I had to carried her in the house. I took off her dress, her lashes and laid her down. I got in the shower then I got in the bed and called it a night.
