It's been 3 days since Mari got arrested. We are waiting on her court date which is tomar to see what's going on. I found out who Brittany Smith was, she was the bitch that kissed me in the club. She went to the police station the day after the club accident with bruises all over her and said Mari did it. But what she don't know is somebody recorded the whole thing and we have witnesses.

Aaliyah was bout to go apeshit when they wouldn't let us get Mari out the first day. But I calmed her down and let her know everything was going to be fine. Mari called and talked to her too so she was fine. I really haven't slept since Mari been gone.

Their mom was coming down here sometimes this week. I don't know what day but it's soon. I hope Mari was going to be outta jail before she come cuz if she isn't it's going to be bad.
Aaliyah name popped up on my phone.

"Hello..." I said answering

"Indigo, mom is on her way down here..." she said sounding nervous

"Now or she coming later??" I asked

"Her flight is sometimes in the middle of the night meaning she would be here in the morning..." she said

"About what time??" I asked

"8 or 9. The lastly is 10..." she said

"Mari doesn't go to court until 10:30..." I said
"How the fuck we are going to do this??" I asked myself

"Naomi and I can go pick her up from the airport and keep her busy until Mari comes home..." Aaliyah said

"That's a good idea..." I said

We went with that.

*Next day

I woke up, got out my clothes, did my hygiene stuff and took a shower. Once I was done putting on my under clothes, I moisturized myself then put my clothes on. I went into the bathroom, took off my durag, sprayed on cologne then put my shoes on. I grabbed everything I needed then walked downstairs where Naomi and Aaliyah were.

"Alright I'm bout to head out. Call me when y'all pick her up and I'll call when we on the way home..." I said and she nodded

"Is she coming home today??" Aaliyah asked looking up at me

"I'm 100 percent sure she's coming home so stop worrying..." I said and she nodded

I kissed her forehead and hugged her.

"I'm heading out. Naomi take care of her..." I said looking at Naomi and she nodded

I left out and went to the car. I got in, started it and headed to the courthouse. When I got there I seen the witnesses, lawyer and everybody for us standing on the side. I went to where they were.

"Hey..." I said walking up

They spoke back, we started talking and stuff. They already gave the video to the lawyer that showed Mari only hit her once and that was because she pushed her first. After a while we all went into the courtroom and it started. Mari came in with a jail suit on and her hair in 2 braids to the back. She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back then she stood in front of me.

"I think you look good in orange..." I said to lighten up the mood

She looked back at me.

"Indigo shut up..." she said then we laughed
"I missed you..." she said looking in my eyes

"I missed you too baby..." I said

I wanted to kiss her but I don't know if they would allow that so I'll just waited. After like 30 minutes it started. She went up to speak and say what happened that night which was all lies. Only part was true was Mari and I got to fighting. After she got down, her witnesses went up and lied too. Once they were done Mari went up to tell what happened. The witnesses and I went up to tell our side. The security guard that night even came and was on our side. Once all Mari's witnesses came up, the lawyer took the judge the video. Once the video popped up ole girl eyes almost fell out her head cuz she knew we had her ass. The video played and you can see as clear as day. She kissed me, Mari came to the dance floor and pulled me away from her. You can see Mari screaming in my face then she turned to the girl called her a bitch then the girl pushed Mari then Mari punched her. The girl came pushed Mari then I pushed her and she fell.

"Sorry..." I said once I seen that and she nodded

Then Mari got off the ground and left out the club.
Once the judge seen the video, he turned and looked at Brittany and shook his head. He dismissed the case and Mari was free to go home. I waited a while for her to come out. She came out in the same clothes she left the house in. She spotted me and ran to me. She jumped up, I grabbed her and hugged her.

"I'm so happy I'm going home..." she said smiling

"It was bad in there??" I asked as I put her down

"Not really, it was just I missed home. The beds was hard and food looked disgusting..." she said

"You ready??" I asked

"Hell yeah. I'm ready to take a bath and eat something..." she said as we made it to the car

I opened the door for her, she got in then I got in. I grabbed my phone and seen that Aaliyah had picked their mom up from the airport.

"Your mom is here..." I said as I started the car

"What??" She said looking at me

"Yeah, Aaliyah just picked her up from the airport this morning..." I said pulling off

"Did y'all tell her I went to jail??" She asked

"No. Aaliyah had the idea to pick her up and keep her busy until we get home. Then you can get yourself together before she gets to the house..." I said

"Good cuz I don't need her questioning me right now..." she said

"You want stop somewhere and get food??" I asked her

"Honestly I want to go home and take a shower first..." she said and I nodded

I drove home then I texted Aaliyah and told her we were home. Mari headed straight to the shower as I took off these clothes to put on something comfortable.
A hour has passed, their mom came and Mari was still in the shower. I went into the bathroom and she was washing her hair.

"Your mom is downstairs..." I said after pulled the glass open

"I'll be down in a minute..." she said and I nodded
"Can you find me some to put on??" She asked

"Sure baby..." I said before closing the glass
