Indigo closed the door in my face.

"Mom why would you say that to her??" I asked looking at her

"I didn't say it, she said it was her fault..." she said

"Mom you was insinuating that. When she said it, you was supposed to tell her that's not what you meant. You sat there and let her think that without even clarifying it..." I said

"Mom that was outta pocket..." Liyah said shaking her head

"That was not your place to say anything. We've already discussed that situation and we handled it. We've been fine..." I said
"She has already felt like this was her fault and you come and say that. Mom that was messed up..." I said to her before I went upstairs

I went on my side of the bed and grabbed my phone. I called Indigo but she didn't answer instead she texted me.

Papa💍: I need time to clear my head...

Me: Okay, I understand...

I sat on the bed and just thought about what just happened. How could she say some like that? Why would she say some like that to her? She don't even know went happen so how can she just come and blame Indigo. Why was she even going through our stuff for? What was she looking for?

I felt my phone vibrate and it was Liyah. I looked at the text.

LilSissy💕: Come check on the food

I headed downstairs. I walked into the front room and my mom was looking sad. She should be feeling some type of way cuz she ain't have no business saying that to Indigo. I went into the kitchen and checked on the food. After checking on the food I sat down at the island as I opened back up my phone. I texted in the group chat with Jilly, Aja and I. I texted and told them what had just happened . They was feeling the same way I was feeling. I was still checking on the food and a hour later the food was fully done. I called them in the kitchen to come eat. I fixed everyone's plate and we went into the front room. I put it on a movie and we ate in silence. Indigo still hasn't came home. I really wanted to go where she was but she said she wanted time so I was giving her that. After eating Aaliyah cleaned the kitchen up. I went upstairs, got in the tub and got out. Indigo still hasn't came and it's going on 9. I FaceTimed her and she answered. She was laying down in a bed.

"Where are you??" I asked looking at her

"At a hotel..." she said

"Why??" I asked

"Honestly, I don't wanna be around your mom right now..." she said

"Yeah I get it..." I said truthfully

We were silent for a while as I moisturized my body.

"Have you eaten anything??" I asked her

"No, not yet..." She said

"Why??" I asked squinting at her

"Babe stop looking like that..." she said laughing a lil
"But I haven't been in the mood to eat..." she said

"You gotta eat something before you go to sleep..." I said

"Nah I'm fine. I'll just eat in the morning..." she said

"Indigo you haven't ate since this morning..." I said to her

"It's okay, I'm fine. I don't want to eat nothing right now..." she said

"Whatever..." I said
"When are you coming back home??" I asked

"In the morning..." she said
