Hey! It's been long, you should refresh yourself by re-reading the last chapter :)
-----
Minutes after endless pacing, the beeping noise was back to normal and doctors walked out.
"DOCTOR! WHAT HAPPENED?" Julian yelled furiously.
"Alicia stopped breathing, we're thinking it's something injected. Did anyone walk into this room before me?"
"There were 2 doctors, I pressed the button after Alicia woke up." I explained.
"Alicia woke up?" Julian asked tearfully. I simply nodded my head.
"That's impossible, Dr. Ramen just left the building and it was my shift to treat Alicia. We're taking blood samples to the lab right now." With that, a few nurses followed the doctor, supplies in hand.
"I can't believe Alicia was awake and I wasn't there." Julian slumped. I sighed before claiming the seat next to him. Putting a reassuring hand on his shoulder, "It hadn't been a full minute before I pressed the button." I said.
Julian leaned back in his chair, exasperated. A tear rolled down his cheek before he furiously wiped it away and scrunched up his face.
"I just want this to be over. I want to take her home and forget about all of this. We should be able to move on already."
I nodded my head. I was too caught up in the moment that I hadn't realised if the doctors were suspicious or not. It was plenty stupid.
Alicia almost died.
That was all that occupied my brain right then. Where would we be if she didn't make it? The internal battle I was having with myself was too overwhelming. The images were too real. I wasn't going to go down that path again. I wouldn't be able to live through it this time.
Julian was attached to the window even more; if that was possible. We were both devestated. Alicia wake up already. We really need you.
I mimicked Julian's moves not long after, suddenly all energy drained from my body.
"I know what you mean. I don't know either of you but just looking at her face, I can tell she doesn't deserve this. No one deserves this."
Suddenly, I thought back to that moment in Alicia's room. Alicia was so full of life, so alive. Her big brown eyes brought back so many intense memories, goosebumps formed all over my body.
'Alicia, I can't wait to see you awake again.'

Alicia's POV
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
After hearing myself inhale a long breath, I reminded myself to exhale when I opened my eyes. Here I was, in the same room again. Too dull, I thought to myself.
As far as I knew, I couldn't move my arms. I was too weak. I looked down, seeing there was an IV stuck in one of my arms, as well as the other was in a cast.
As I moved my eyes around in their sockets, my head ached with an intense pain.
"Ow....." I muttered.
My legs were numb from being in the same position for God knows how long. My mind drifted to Julian. Oh, how I missed him. Did he know I was here? Had he been worried? Where was he? I was hoping he was doing alright, he was always the one to fuss over me. Always.
Then, my mind drifted to Liam.
You're thinking too much, Alicia. I scolded myself.
Okay, maybe so, but I'm alive when I thought the last time I was to breathe was when my kidnappers drugged me.
My kidnappers! I totally forgot about them, which is pretty hard since they're the reason why I'm in this hospital. In this room, lying on this bed.
My vision blurred. My arms went numb as my legs, and my heart started beating frantically.
'What the-?' I thought before my breathing stopped. I couldn't breathe! It wasn't long before I was out cold.
Liam's POV
Julian shot up from his seat and towards Alicia's room - where the repeated beeps were coming from. Deja vu much? I'm starting to believe God likes to play games.
Everythign was pretty much slow motion after that.
Julian yelling for doctors, the doctors' bustling into Alicia's room.
Me? I was there to watch it all. Julian attaching himself to the window like I saw him do so many times before. Doctors in a frantic pace in Alicia's room. Alicia? I couldn't see her much. All I saw was her cast. The rest of her was blocked by white cloaks.
I couldn't even move. Too shocked by how everything turned out. Everything was going to be alright! I was making plans to talk to Alicia after she woke up. Alicia, Julian and I, we were all ready to put all of these events behind us and move on.
Julian. He was so ready to take Alicia home, where her life actually was. Where she was going to be happy. Where she was going to continue on with her life.
That wasn't what was happening right now, though.
I was so lost in thought that I barely caught a shout along the lines of "CODE BLUE!". When I looked up, I saw Alicia's unconcious body being rolled out of her hospital room with nurses holding an oxygen mask and her IV pack on her tail. My feet unconciously followed until the hard doors that closed on my face.
It took me awhile to collect myself, prying my eyes from the doors in front of me and the ghost of the hospital bed that was rolled though the doors just seconds ago.
When I looked back though, I saw Julian cherry red in the face, crying his heart out.
It wasn't until my lip quivered, that I noticed I had been crying as well.
