you have been in italy for roughly 6 months now and your life is different. you had cut your hair just a little bit and dyed it red. you had to change your style. you became numb, you were even more depressed. you were now a depressed phoebe buffay. you had always idolized her and wanted to be her, but your energy put a damper on everything.

you worked at a bar with the worse boss ever. he had hired you, expecting you to parade around with your tits out. you refused but he didn't fire you because there was only 3 workers and you were the only one who does everything properly. you stopped having sex and getting drunk. you didn't want a guy to judge your scars and every time you would have a hangover, your boss made you want to kill him or yourself. since you couldn't relieve your stress how you used to at the bau or with sex and opted to running. you would run on a treadmill for hours. you were never really the athletic type but running made you forget everything. sometimes you didn't stop until you were about to pass out.

you lived with your friend, luciana. she was 51 so she treated you like you were her child. she was the only good thing in your life. even though the people you loved knew you were alive, they couldn't contact you. in your first few weeks in Italy penelope called your phone. apparently, she was trying to find your dad and found your old identity in the process. she knew that she couldn't tell anyone or call you again but she just wanted to hear your voice again.

you were sick of your stupid job just because of your stupid boss. you were sick of speaking Italian but you had to because of your job. when you would run into an american at work most of the time they were annoying.

right now you were at work, doing everything by yourself. usually your boss would put in at least a little bit of effort to help you but now he wasn't there, so you were struggling. there was three very drunk men in the corner getting rowdy.

"sì?(yes?)" you asked, getting sick of them.

"sono vuoto. ho bisogno di un nuovo drink.(im emtpy. need a new drink.)" one of the guys said.

"scusa c'è una regola. non puoi bere più di 8 bevande alcoliche.(sorry there's a rule. you can't have any more than 8 alcoholic drinks.)" you gave a half-assed apology.

"no mi dispiace. Non credo di essere stato abbastanza chiaro.(no im sorry. i don't think i was clear enough.)"he slurred then you felt a familiar feeling on your stomach. "mi stai preparando un nuovo drink.(you're making me a new drink.)"

"no io non sono. ne avevi 8, non di più.(no I'm not. you had 8, no more.)" you sassed, not afraid of the gun being pointed at you. the customer pointed the gun at your head, but you didn't care, you were already dead.

you backed away from the table, the guy following you. you kicked him in the balls and since he was so drunk he stayed down. you took his gun and unloaded it then turned to see his two drunk buddies holding up guns. you scoffed and took out two mini tasers you always carry with you and tased them right in the balls. you unloaded their guns too then called the police to tell them what happened.

"che cazzo è successo?(what the fuck happened?)" your boss marcello screamed.

"tutti e tre mi hanno tirato fuori le pistole, così ho fatto del male alle loro palle.(all three of them pulled their guns out of me, so I hurt their balls.)" you simply told him.

"COSA CAZZO HAI DI SBAGLIATO?!(WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!)" he slapped you in the face, hard. you didn't even flinch, not caring about the pain.

"ho smesso. addio.(I quit. bye.)" you said, grabbing your purse and leaving. when you were at the doorway you realised that you didn't have your tasers so you went back to get them. "Quasi dimenticavo queste cose. (I almost forgot these things.)" you said, tasing the air around him, trying to hold back his laughter when he flinches. you caught a glimpes of a group in the corner, them looking like the team but you shrugged it off.
