The door flew open and George appeared, leaning on the doorframe, illuminated from behind by the light of the hallway.

The scarf boy appeared behind him, lips pressed together. He was probably trying not to laugh, because George looked rather silly.

"'Ello, I'm Bailey, I was forced down here by this idiot." he explained.

Wow, he actually has a name.

You glanced over at George.

"What do you want?" you asked.
"I want to talk, y/n," he pleaded.

He swaggered over to you and got down on his knees, begging before you. "PLEASE!"

"Geez, fam, all you had to do was ask... normally..."

He gave you puppy dog eyes. "F-fam?"

He then broke down crying and ran out of the room.

Omg. I broke George. My childhood worst enemy. I am all powerful and I feel extremely tall right now.

You turned your attention back to Ami, who smirked at you.

"Y/n..." she growled, "That was so alpha hashtag bossbabe of you..."

You raised one eyebrow cockily and gave her a nod.

"Mhm... anyway, what were you going to say..? Before we were so rudely interrupted?"

She looked you dead in the eye, brow furrowed, searching your face for an answer.

"I- um-"

...

"Should I leave?" Bailey interrupted, "I don't know where I am."

Ami's head whipped round aggressively and she stomped towards him, absoloutely fuming.

"GET OUT!!!" she thundered.

Bailey was covered in spit and his hair looked rather windswept. He scuttled out of the room, clutching his scarf.

Ami turned back to you, a strange look in her eyes.

"Y/n..." she began.

"From the day I laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one for me."

Your breath hitched.

Oh my God.

She looked down at you with doleful brown eyes, like a baby deer, her eyes flickered down to your lips and back to your eyes.

"I learnt that from TikTok," she whispered. "I tagged Chaya in it. Did it work?"

"Yes," you breathed.

She nodded sadly, taking your teeny goblin hand in her large one.

"I just- with the Mafia, George and stuff... seeing you has been hard."

"I understand," you said understandingly.

"But... I hope we can still go on our date tonight..." she said, barely loud enough for you to hear.

"Wait-"

It was all so suddenly and ridiculously crystal clear.
