𝐘/𝐍 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐄𝐋 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍, "Are you sure you're going to buy flowers at this hour when she probably head home?" Y/n scratched her head nervously, "Yeah." Michael started looking through the shop, "I don't know." her scratching then moved on the back of her head, however Michael ignored her and Y/n didn't want to stop him at his decision as he looked for a rose, or a flower that is more romantic than a rose. "What if we go back and she went home?" Y/n questioned but Michael just took out his wallet to pay the singular rose he bought, "I have a feeling she won't be home." Michael then took the rose and waited for Y/n to follow him outside.

"How do you know that? Is that a love at first sight thing? You just immediately sense when they go home or not?" Y/n snickered which just made Michael look at her which was enough for her to apologize once more, "Sorry." she snorted one last time and started kicking the pavement with the tip of her shoes then placed both hands in her pockets, "How could she possibly leave when it just turned 8?" Michael started walking which made Y/n quickly catch up to him, "She could still go home early." Y/n started to feel the freezing temperature once more and she took her cigarette to smoke it.

"How would you know that as well?" Michael debated, Y/n didn't respond yet instead contemplated whether to light up her cigarette since they were about to ride a taxi. "The last time she went home was around 10." He got in the taxi and grew impatient every second that passed by as Y/n took her time to get in the taxi as well, "Okay Star-expert how about this; that was last time." Y/n commented even though there was a cigarette between her lips that she's trying to hold. "Hurry please, to the boardwalk, Santa Carla." Michael pleaded and nervously looked out the window. The idea of Star leaving was catching up to him thus why he got more impatient.

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊 and Michael paid the taxi driver briskly, then quickly looked around at the boardwalk to see if Star was there, "C'mon Y/n, help me find her." He pleaded, he received no response as Y/n began splitting up with him to look at a separate area and coincidentally did spot Star; cuddling up to David, however Y/n didn't say anything and just observed the two from afar whilst Michael noticed that Y/n was still in her place observing, to him this was a sign that she did spot Star so he went beside her.  Michael caught up to the scene of Star cuddling up to David as they slowly walk back to the motorcycles that was parked farther from where they parked it last time. This made Michael frown. There were so many signs that Star hinted that she likes David more than Michael. Michael hadn't make her laugh as much as David did, that she would rather ride with David than him. These were the thoughts of the teenage brunette as he watched her giggling slightly.

The disappointed Michael then just froze for a second then turned to Y/n, "Sorry." She reassured him and offered a cigarette pack to Michael but he shook his head as a gesture to say he wasn't in the mood for it.

𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐁𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐀 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋who held several flower crowns, "I'm sorry" Star looked at the girl with a apologetic smile, Star subsequently knelt down to help the stranger pick up the fallen flower crowns as David let's go of his grip of Star. David and the boys start their bikes; Star was picking up the flower crowns she manage to look back and accidentally spectate the scene where Y/n offered cigarettes to Michael while she had her own between her lips. Star curiously watched the seen and saw Michael give a rose to Y/n to which Y/n took with no hesitation, furthermore scratch the back of her H/c hair and mumbled something back to the upset Michael. Star unhappily observed the scene moreover slowed her pace at helping the female stranger pick up her flower crowns, though she manage to still collect them all despite feeling her surroundings slow down at the heartbreak. She briskly gave the flower crowns back to the girl and then continued watching the scene as Y/n kick the air awkwardly as she spoke-- holding the rose. "Star." David's voice was heard, she was hestitant to look away to see what else would happen but at the same time Star felt heartbroken at the scene with the idea that Michael likes Y/n more than her so she looked away. David caught up to the scene as well and wasn't too happy at the idea as well as he started his motor.

"I don't smoke." Michael mumbled with a gloomy expression on his face, "Yeah your brother said the same thing." Y/n closed the cigarette box she offered and put it back on her pocket. Michael didn't chuckle nor have a smile which made her dangle a bit not knowing what to say to comfort him back, "Here you can just have this." Michael gave the rose to her, Y/n nervously scratched the back of her head with no words to return, "There's no use for it now other than to just give it to you." Michael spoke somberly, "I'll just take it as a thank you gift for tonight." Y/n nervously chuckled and slightly lifted her foot to slightly kick the invisible air as she has one hand in her pocket and the other one holding the rose. "Thanks." Michael gave a quick smile then walked away, "Good night Michael." Y/n relaxed her shoulders and Michael look back to give her another smile and headed to where he previously parked his motor.

As soon as Michael walked away to Y/n on her own David also drove away yet turned back from time to time to see if she had moved from her place.

𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐀𝐅𝐀𝐑 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐄 then approached Y/n, "What were you doing with an Emerson?" the familiar voice of Edgar was heard which made Y/n jump, "None of your business." Y/n fully faced towards them, "Jeez don't scare me like that." Y/n got a lighter to light up her cigarette that's been iching for it to be used. "How long have you guys been sticking around?" she added, "Awhile, but that's not the question." Alan replied for the two. "What were you doing with an Emerson?" Edgar questioned once again, "Nothing. What's wrong with hanging out with an Emerson?" Y/n raised her eyebrows and both Alan and Edgar look at each other then back on the rose she held then look back to her; Edgar squinted his eyes more in suspicion, "I don't trust the Emerson brothers." Edgar responded, "What's wrong with them?" Y/n questioned and the two brothers began walking which was enough for Y/n to follow them as she smokes.

"Well the other one is downright oblivious and the other one..." Alan was trying to think about something suspicious about Michael but they never seen him before and only heard his name through Sam. "We just don't trust them okay?" Edgar saved Alan, "What are they vampires?" Y/n snickered and the brothers look at her and began considering the idea since Sam was oblivious what if he was pretending to be human?

Nevertheless they considered the thought but since they glared at Y/n she thought she joked at the wrong time again, "Right, sorry." she put her head down and continued smoking as she followed the brothers from behind. "Now that I think about it. What if the Emerson's are vampires?" Alan mumbled to his brother, Edgar who looks like he's already thinkg about it and considering the idea, "Then that just gives us more reason to stay suspicious of the Emersons." Edgar suggested and received a nod from his brother. "You should go home Y/n. It's almost 9." Alan turned back and Y/n stopped her tracks, "What happens at 9?" She curiously questioned; both Alan and Edgar look at each other before looking at her again. "It's a curfew we made. Vampires usually go out at 10 onwards." Edgar answered. "Fine, good night you two." she said in defeat as she began to walk all the way home, "Oh and Y/n" Alan started, "Stop smoking." Edgar finished his sentence which received a thumbs up from Y/n and quickly walked home with a rose held by her left and her right constantly going up and down to take off the cigarette to take quick breaks.
