𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐑 𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 what they have failed to miss is that Ken was trying to break the ceiling closet inside the confined space he was trapped him. He is so close to getting his meal; he debated whether he should continue praying on the Frog brothers, Emerson, and S/n since it was taking awhile for him to try to get any blood from them.

"How are we gonna fix inside?" Sam worriedly questioned indicating the flood that still occupied the whole first floor of his home. The four were still leaning on the door of the closet; blocking it from Ken going out as he bashes the ceiling open. At the time being the Frog brothers looked at each other pondering how do they fix the flood indoors. Yet before any of the friends could open their mouths to suggest or comment at Sam-- a loud thump was heard which made all the friends duck slightly since it came from above.

As they slowly looked upwards they Saw Ken looking hungrier than ever and flying away from the teenagers. Unspoken, they were panicking deeply not being able to process on what to do next.

Ken quickly flew away paying no attention to his former victims and started heading to a crowd, Santa Carla.

As soon as he left the four went inside opening the doors to relieve the flood. They were unable to do this earlier without the risk of Ken going in.

"We need to stop him." Edgar grabbed his spear and wore a garlic necklace. "How?" Sam panicked as he opened every entrance of the house; pacing back in forth as he did so.

"By just preventing him to bite anyone. Let's go." Edgar walked out of the house followed by Alan. Y/n and Sam went last as they quickly finished up closing and locking the doors around the house after the flood went out of all the entrances.

𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐊𝐄𝐏𝐓 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐎𝐅 𝐊𝐄𝐍, he wasn't as fast as they make him to be which was lucky in their part. The other two followed them, though are rather far behind which made the two of them jog their way to the brothers.

In all honesty Ken was exhausted; felt nothing but fatigue and the idea of his body fainting any second because of lack of meal he had on his stomach. He was still bloodlust; desperate and determined which what kept him going despite him slowing down to somewhat maintain his composure from passing out.

He groaned and sped up once he realized the brothers below him, at this point they weren't his priority albeit he knows they'll eventually become a problem if they get in his way into finding another victim. Pacing up wasn't the best choice though as he felt his face getting paler and felt cold sweat dripping all over his body. His migraine from the hunger was getting to him everytime he moves drastically.

Simultaneously there was still rain though, weak. Nevertheless it was still an obstacle from the friends and the half vampire flying in the air. While the friends tried their best not to slip and loose track of the vampire, Ken was struggling to make his way towards Santa Carka.

"How do we get him down?" Y/n screamed and finally manage to run side by side with the two brothers, Sam followed from behind but chose to stay behind as the three talked. "He'll eventually go down to find a victim, that's how we get him." Edgar explained underpressured, "But what happens after?" Sam spoke from behind, it made everyone daze once more thinking how would they escort the vampire away from the tourists and guest of boardwalk.

With the help of the weather condition Ken's calcuations were incorrect and found hims self on the beach of Boardwalk, he thought this was his opportunity to land since he is smart enough to not reveal his true self in front of large quantities of people even though he was starving. He still doesn't want to suffer the consequences so he slowly flew down. No one seemed to notice since most of the people are leaving boardwalk because of the weather, and some just walked around with umbrellas minding their business.

"Stop!" Alan yelled which made Ken turn around, he knew they'll get in the way eventually so he lifted himself up on the air once more, "Grab on to his leg." Edgar looked behind him to look at Y/n and Sam who were once again behind the brothers.

They all sped up and Y/n couldn't feel her knees, she was running as fast as she can and it felt like it was gonna give up on her whilst they chase after Ken, however it was not enough to make her stop, though she could feel it go numb she still tried her best to keep up before Ken flies up higher and get away without the four knowing his whereabouts once again. And the S/n could not let that situation become into a reality.

Edgar and Alan were on the lead, Edgar was the closest out of all of them so he reached his hands upwards to grab on Ken's ankle just for the raven haired boy to notice this and quickly rush away once more yet being in the same level. Edgar silently cursed to himself and balled his hands into a fist as he clenched it tighter getting more determined to reach for Ken again.

But before Edgar can turn around to inform is group a plan he came up he heard a thud on the sand which made him look back to see it was Ken who fell on the sand, exhausted. He couldn't take it anymore and fainted. His headache got the best of him, and his whole body quivered as he fell down.

"That was easy." Alan panted as all of them stopped; Y/n's legs were shaking which made her sit on the stand while Sam rested bot of his palms on his knees slightly squatting whilst the brothers did the same. "We have to check if he's still alive." Edgar manage to say out between each breath he exhaled, his deep voice slightly cracking as he mentioned. "Who's gonna check it?" Sam questioned, he too was exhausted and slowly blinking his eyes as the mixture of sweat and rain were covering him.

The roaring rain instead became drizzle once Ken fell, which was good on the friend's part since they wouldn't have to struggle anymore.

"Y/n" Edgar finally squatted lower on the sand, "Why me?" Y/n eyed the brother with a confused look which made him quickly look back at her, "Because, you could never be too sure." Edgar squinted his eyebrows, "Why do I always have to do the dangerous stunts." Y/n scratched her soaked hair with a sour face, "Because you'll do something good." Alan responded, "But I am a good person." Y/n debated, "Yes  but think of it this way, if you sacrifice yourself you'll benefit the whole wild world because you already checked if he is alive or not and if he bites you at least we'll get to catch him and he won't be able to bit anyone anymore, and you'll be on magazines and newspapers, the whole world would mourn for you." Edgar explained rather quickly with him leaning in each word that comes out of his mouth and with his eyebrows furrowing even more.

Y/n looked at him with a concerned look not knowing whether  to comment or say nothing at all. Albeit quickly gave in and stood up with a grunt and slowly made it towards Ken but stopping to turn behind at her friends, "What happens if I get bitten?" Y/n questioned hugging her shoulder, "Then we'll catch him." Edgar whispered back but enough for the girl to hear, "But what about me?" Y/n worriedly questioned, "We'll immediately drive you to a hospital now go." Edgar spoke without thinking his words thoroughly.

Y/n walked towards Ken and started to squat down to sit beside him before getting up once more, "What happens to Ken If he's alive?" she tried to buy more time just like the previous time, "We'll bring him to the hospital." Alan was the one to reply before Y/n looked at them and back to Ken's unconscious body and sat down besides him.

She slowly tried holding Ken's arms to feel his pulse but hesitated as scenarios just appeared in her head, the thought of Ken waking up as she held his arm and how he could easily lift it up to bite her arm as well since he was hungry, and there was a big chance it could happen.

Yet she still slowly gathered the courage for her pointer finger and middle finger to feel around his wrist to feel a pulse, and luckily there was and luckily as well he didn't wake up to bite her. She quickly ran towards back at the group still afraid of the risk of getting bitten. "He's alive." She whispered while sitting back down on the sand, "What now then?" Sam inquired, "We call the police." Edgar relaxed his tensed shoulders and the four friends let the cool drizzle touch and soothe them in silence.
