𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐘/𝐍 and as she felt the tropical atmosphere she felt a poke at the side of her stomach which made her stand up immediately and grip her hammer that she hugged last night. But she only saw the Frog brothers with Edgar holding a stick to poke her.

"She's not dead." Edgar announced, "What are you doing here?" Y/n rubbed her eyes and let go of the hammer, "The question is what are you doing here?" Edgar walked away and dropped his famous duffel bag on the floor, "I slept." a sudden headache came to Y/n which made her groan and lean her head back to the sofa she slept on, "Here?" Alan questioned, "Yeah." Y/n covered her eyes with her arm; the brightness of the sun gave her a headache. "Now what are you doing here?" Y/n sniffled and rubbed her nose. "We're here to unpack." Alan answered, "What? Are you guys gonna live here or something?" Y/n sarcastically snorted, "No, Y/n. This is our base remember? So we're putting our important items here." Edgar got up and gave another serious look to Y/n who wasn't paying attention.

"Are you okay? You look pale." Alan observed and Edgar stared at Y/n who looked indeed pale. Edgar came up to the H/c haired girl and slapped her arm off, "Ow!" she sat up and held her arm,  Y/n rubbed her arms as Edgar put his hand on her forehead, "Do you have a fever or something?" Edgar immediately pushed his hand away from her forehead and with his deep voice cracking; even so fearing that he might catch it too. Y/n frowned at the thought of a fever since she knew who caused it. Which is Ken who pushed her to the freezing waters of Santa Carla at chilly hours of the night.

"Yeah I think so." Y/n stood up and grabbed her leather jacket, "I have to go home to take a warm bath.", "It's hot?" Alan questioned indicating that it was boiling and yet she wanted to take a hot bath. "I think I have a cold from last night." Y/n sighed and leaned on the door frame as she explained, the migraine wasn't helping. "What happened last night?" Edgar got up from his duffel bag unpacking and looked at Y/n. "I fell on the water." she lied she didn't have time for this; her head was aching badly and she wanted to go home to take a bath from her dirty and dried clothing  and just rest after the stressful day.

Edgar and Alan started lecturing the tired girl about clumsiness and all she wanted to do was just get out of the scene, so she decided to change the topic of a thought she pondered about at the previous night before going to sleep, "Hey, we should save up for a radio." Y/n perked up, "Seriously?" Edgar spoke, "That's all you could think of at this moment?" Alan added, "Well sorry. but we should really try saving for a radio." Y/n scratched her head awkwardly then sneezed afterwards which made the boys look at her, "You're gonna spread the disease here." Edgar stated which made Y/n quickly snort then left.

Her body felt sore and her back hurts because of the poor position she slept last night adn the condition of the sofa she slept on wasn't the best and it was hard, it felt like she was sleeping on a rock. Despite this she still made it to her empty home where she boiled herself some tea and went to take a warm bath to get rid of her chills. Her nose was runny and she kept sneezing from time to time. Her throat was parched; it lacked water.

Y/n cleaned herself, her body felt tacky and sticky from the dried clothing and the sand all over her body. But as soon as she took a quick bath it felt good that the feeling was off her body. She wore comfortable clothes and hurriedly drank her tea so she could please the iching urge of taking a proper comfortable nap to make up from the awful sleeping experience she went through to the prior night.

The Frog brothers agreed that this should be their secret vampire base, hence why they were placing their anti-vampire items. Their silence was shortly interrupted by sounds of shoes running towards the door which made the immediately grab their spears and turn around just to see a familiar Emerson.

The boys groaned at the sight of Emerson, that out of all days he had to be there. "Hey." he nonchalantly spoke as he peaked to the books in the bookshelves piled up to one corner and has been replaced by the Frog brother's things. "Y/n here yet?" Sam looked around and put both of his hands on the frame of the door. "She went home." Edgar replied which made Sam look at him with a confused look, "Why?" he questions, "She's sick." Alan replied for his brother and knelt down near the bag to tinker with it's contents.

"Aren't we going to give her a take care gift?" Sam walked in the attic and sat on the sofa while still looking around. The brothers stopped what they were doing and froze for a second, considering it, "We don't even know where she lives." Alan replied back, Sam nodded in defeat knowing there was a point. "What do you want us to buy for her anyways? Medication? Perscriptions?" Edgar mocked and closed his duffel bag rather aggressively.

The boys were in a competition with Sam, yet undoubtedly Sam isn't aware that he is in a small competition with the brothers.

Whatever Sam does the Frog brothers have to compete with, thus why the three boys are walking in the boardwalk in a wonderful afternoon looking for a small gift they could give Y/n the next day she feels better.

Sam turned to a gift shop which made the Frog brothers follow him as well with both furrowed eyebrows. The stepped away from the boy as Sam looks at keychains, "We can do better than that." Alan stated and whispered to his brother while pretending to read a magazine. "That's a terrible gift." Edgar came up to Sam and pointing at the fluffy keychain he held, "Why?" Sam looked at him with confusion, "Trust me, it is a terrible gift. They sell those everywhere in boardwalk, she could easily buy that." Edgar looked at Sam and stated seriously, "And you wouldn't want that do you?" Alan came to the other side of Sam which made him turn to the other brother then back to the keychain he held and started pondering about it while Alan gave an eyebrow flash to his brother to which his brother returned and left the boy to his own.

"We should convince him to get a crap gift instead of convincing him to get a better one." Alan whispered to his brother but Edgar tsked and looked at him with a smug expression, "Don't worry about his gift, because we're going to give the best gift that she wants." Edgar explained and walked around the shop even more. "How do you know what she wants?" Alan gave a confused look to Edgar, "Trust me." Edgar started leading his brother towards the other side of the gift shop to show him the gift he wanted to purchase for Y/n.

"You see, If you didn't hear earlier, Y/n mentioned she wanted a radio." Edgar had his serious expression once more and his deep voice as he explained it to his brother; Alan smiled back cockily as Edgar pointed to a specific item on a shelf of the gift shop. It was a tiny radio, it looks cheap yet it looks like it would work, "She wants a radio?" another voice entered and the two brothers turned to look at Sam. "No." Edgar hid which made Sam smile and quickly walk to the shelf to grab the radio but both of the brothers stop him, "You don't have money for that." Edgar tried convcing him, "Not falling for that one this time." Sam tried pushing forward to go the cashier as the Frog brothers tried persuading him otherwise, "But we got it first." Alan kept blocking the Emerson, "Well I got it second." Sam proceeded to find alternative ways to dodge the blockings of the brothers.
