"Morning Dames" I mumbled sleepily, placing a kiss on his forehead before walking over to the window and opening the curtains.

My stomach immediately dropped at what I saw, around five photographers were all stood on the opposite side of the road, their cameras positioned exactly at our front door.

I inhaled deeply to try and settle the nauseous feeling in my stomach, before pulling the curtains shut and turning round to face Damon.

"What the fuck have you done?" I asked sharply, my tone causing him to sit up in bed as he frowned at me.

"What? I haven't done anything" He stuttered, shaking his head as he spoke "What are you going on about?"

"I'm going to give you one chance to tell me if there's anything you think I should know" I told him, inhaling deeply as I started involuntary pacing around the room "Have you cheated on me?"

"What? Eliza, of course I haven't" He responded quickly, his eyes looking at me in complete confusion as I continued to pace.

"Do you promise?" I asked him, stopping in my tracks to stare at him, trying to see if I could read his reaction.

"Yes darling, I completely promise" he swung his legs round so that he was now sat on the edge of the bed "Why? What's going on?"

I bit down on my lip, nodding my head as I walked back over to the window and taking hold of the curtains in my hand. The sound of footsteps running towards our room stopped me from opening the curtains.

"Mum! Dad!" Missy exclaimed as she burst the door open "There's people with cameras outside!"

Damon bolted out of bed, pulling the curtains open and looking across at me. His blue eyes instantly filled with worry, I swallowed hard trying to keep my own tears at bay as I turned my attention round to Missy.

"Nothing to worry about darling, we'll go and get them to leave" I tried to reassure her, but she could tell that the smile didn't reach my eyes.

"But why are they here?" She questioned, I sighed deeply, putting my hand on her back as I gently lead her out of the room.

"I'm not sure Miss, but your father and I will sort it out, I promise" I reached down and placed a kiss on the top of her head "Go on, why don't you go and make yourself some breakfast?"

I closed the door behind Missy, silently walking over to Damon, who had now stepped away from the window and was sat on the edge of the bed, his head in his hands.

"I promised you that I would never let them camp outside again" He whispered quietly, the crack in his voice telling me that he was crying "I promised you Lyla"

"I know Dames" I responded gently, sitting down next to him and wrapping my arms around his shoulders "But you can't help it, it's not your fault"

"But what have we done? Why are they here?" He looked up at me as he asked weakly, his teary eyes pulling at my heartstrings.

"I don't know, but I'm sure it won't be long before we find out" I sighed as I pulled him closer to my chest "I'm gonna go check on the kids, why don't you jump in the shower?"

I left Damon to it, walking downstairs where I could hear the three children chatting away to each other. The uneasy feeling in my stomach was growing stronger as I thought about everything Damon and I had done in the past few weeks. There was certainly nothing to cause problems like this, or at least nothing I knew of. I walked into the kitchen and put a smile on my face, but I couldn't help but let my mind wander to the last time we had paps outside, when Damon kissed that girl. As much as our trust had grown again in these past few years, I couldn't help but wonder if he'd done it again.
