I watched as a pool of blood formed around leo as my vision slowly blurred before completing fading into darkness. I could faintly hear a distinct yelling that came out as muffled screams before I felt my head hit the ground.

A light hit my closed eye lids making me squint my eyes and finally open them to the bright lights. I tried to move my hand only for a sharp pain to explode in my hand. Glancing down, i found myself connected to some fluids. I frowned trying to sit as everything came to me.

Tears pooled in my eyes as a loud sob left my mouth. The door opened with a bang as I flinched back.

Vincent rushed in as his eyes filled with relief once he saw me awake. He tried to come closer but stopped with my raised hand.

"Lyssa please" he said taking small steps towards the bed.

"Don't come any closer" i cried out loudly. "I hate you. I hate everyone."

"Lyssa try to understand -" I cut him off.

"I don't want to understand anything" i screamed.

"Lower you voice Alyssa" he said sternly. I saw a little bit of ales in him making me more frightened as I pushed myself back into my bed. "If ales hears you screaming after all this, he will lose his shit"

"I don't fucking care" i cried. He took a deep breath before taking full strides to reach me in a step or two. I pushed myself back and almost feel off the the bed. He grabbed my shoulders making me sit and hold me tight. I struggled against him crying loudly trying to push him away. I felt the needle in my hand slip out as blood oozed from it.

"Listen" he said sternly against my struggles. "Leo is fine"

That sentence halted my movements as I watched him with high expectations.

"Really" I mumbled as my voice cracked.

"Yes" he nodded still holding my shoulders firmly. "He was shot with a tranquilizer"

"What is a tranquilizer?" I whispered.

"A drug to make him lose consciousness. That's it. He is fine. Don't worry" he said softly as he gently released his tight grip and pulled me against his chest.

I slumped against his chest as I cried out relief washing over me.
