a/n: hey guys sorry for the wait. I am the worst but I have now graduated and I am spending much more time writing! anyway, this chapter has medical stuff in it and I am by no means a medical professional to what I am saying is possibly entirely wrong so if that's the case I am so sorry. also I wanted to get this out rather quickly so if you see errors I am sorry. with that said I hope you enjoy it, and please vote and comment!

*Song: Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur*

It had been two days since the incident. Since then Flip hadn't left your side. He ate and slept in the chair next to your bed. You were still unconscious. But it wasn't just Flip who was hurting, everyone who loved you was too.

Olympus you loyal pup never left your side either. It surprised Flip how quickly he created an attachment to you but he knew why. Animals have a good judge of character and he could tell you were a kind soul. Olympus was also extremely protective. A few officers including Bridges came in to see you and he stood defensively at the foot of your bed not allowing them any closer. It made Flip smile.

Ron also hadn't left the hospital except for the one day he went to the station to scream at Connie. Other than that he slept on the chair outside of your room. He felt he hadn't done enough to protect you so this was his way to make up for it.

As for your family, they had all shown up on the first flight out. Your father and Maeve moved everything out of your apartment into the new place Flip had found for you. He was nervous when you did get out of the hospital the klan would target both of you so he bought a new place. A home for both of you to create new better memories.

Flip was scared shitless about everything. He couldn't lose you. He barely slept in that chair but when he did the fear crept in and just made him think about all the good times, all he could lose. The memory that comes back the most was when he flew out for your prom because the boy you were supposed to go with canceled on you.

Flip was waiting in your dining room with your parents. It was your senior prom and your mom had just gotten sick. Flip remembered you telling him you guys could just go to dinner and call it a night but he wanted to give you a night to just be a teen because you had to grow up so much over the year.

He was happy he made you go because as soon as he saw you walk down the stairs he knew he was a goner. You smiled at him and that's all he took. He would do whatever it takes to make you smile like that every day. Your dark emerald green dress fits your curves perfectly. The dress had a slit that came up your leg stopping at your upper thigh. The sleeves landed perfectly off of your shoulders and your chest was subtlety on display.

Flip was older and had experience with girls but that all went out the window when you planted a kiss on his cheek and thanked him for doing this. He felt like a 15-year-old all over again. And the picture he held in his wallet ever since that day proves that. Flip had the goofiest smile on his face and yours' had the sweetest but most confident smile

Flip was pulled out of the memory when he heard the door open. Ron followed in behind the doctor. Flip sat up straighter waiting for the news.

"Well over the past two days we have had her in a medically induced coma. I am happy to report that her healing is doing even better than we imagined. She truly is a fighter. An hour ago we started lowering her dosage. I would say it will be about a day until she is fully off and then it is up to her but since she has been breathing on her own since yesterday I have a good feeling about this." With that, the doctor nodded and quickly left the room

Flip was now standing. Olympus too was sitting up in attention. It was like he sensed the change in everyone's emotions.

"This is good Flip. She's going to be okay. Why don't you take Olympus for a walk and head home for a bit. Maybe eat something that isn't hospital food."
