WARNING: THERE ARE A LOT OF SPELLING MISTAKES!!
Chapter 7:
He was being so stubborn. He was like a little boy. He was avoiding the entire situation, which I have no idea why he was... But he was. Yesterday when we had gone back inside 'The Palace' to get ready to the movies, he had this look on his face like he had realized something. His blue eyes seem to have faltered for a fraction of a second. Then he stopped. He turned to me with sorrow in his eyes then he said to me, "I'm sorry I have so much work to do, we can't go." Then he just left. Today we silently made our way to the college not speaking a word to one another. During breaks he would meet me outside of the English building kiss me on the cheek then we would meet up with the guys. I don't know if it was something I did or if he was just overreacting. I just had no idea at all. Mr and Mrs Blake had invited us to their home for dinner so when we had gotten back from college we get ready. I had taken a cool shower than changed into a simple elegant light pink lace dress sitting just above my knee caps. I then styled my hair slightly curling it. As I exited my room and made my way downstairs, George the butler had told me that Nate was waiting for me outside at the car. I thanked him then pushed the front doors open and saw Nate leaning against the car. He was wearing a simple suit and a grey tie. I was about to greet him then I remembered he was being a jerk at the moment so I just got into the car without saying a word to him. We then started to made our way towards Nate's parents home. The silence was so frustrating I had to say something.
"Okay what's wrong?" I asked him turning in my seat. Nate's jaw suddenly tensed, keeping his eyes on the road.
"I don't know what your talking about." He replied.
"Yes you do. What happened yesterday with you. I have no idea. You kissed me, we had a good moment, then you left."
"We shouldn't be together." He said firmly.
"Well I have to be with you. For two years might I add." His hands gripped the wheel tighter.
"Look nothing happened between us, okay? Just forget about it. Forget it ever happened. We can only have a relationship together when we are in public. But when we are at home our relationship is strictly business, nothing more. Alright?" He growled. My chest ached, I'm not sure why but it just made me feel... in pain. The rest of the ride to Nate's parents house was quiet and silently looking out the window watching the trees fly by. We came to a simpliar looking gate like Nate's and drove down the cement driveway seeing a large house close by. As we got closer to the house I noticed it was getting much larger than I realized. It wasn't just a normal two story house and it wasn't just like Nate's house. It was much, much bigger, it was a like two castles combind! There were no exact words to describe it.
Nate parked outside the front door of Mr and Mrs Blake's house and stopped the car.
"You ready?" He asked softly.
"As ready as I'll ever be." I muttered climbing out of the car and shutting the door behind me. I waited until Nate was beside me until we walked to the door. A young woman opened the door greeting and showing us inside. Nate grabbed my hand and swiftly lead me into a big dining room. There greeting us was Nate's family, Mr Blake, Mrs Blake and Nate's little sister Jane.
"Oh darling! It's good to finally see you again." Mrs Blake grins pulling me into a hug.
"It's good to see you again Mrs Blake" I smile.
"Oh please call me Jenna." She tells me. Mr Blake shakes his sons hand then pulls me into a hug.
"Please come sit, dinner is almost ready." Mr Blake says. Nate leads to me one side of the dining table and sits me down next to him. Jenna and Mr Blake sits on the opposite to us and Jane takes a seat at the end of the table. While we wait, Jenna asks both of us how we are both doing with our studies and Mr Blake asks how everything is with our living situation. I decided to just let Nate answer the question as he says.
