Chapter 4:

It had been a few days since I had signed the contract to date Nate. Since then I hadn't seen him much. But every morning I woke up I would find a little note sticky taped on the door from Nate saying he had to go to the company since he was becoming the new CEO and he also had to go to college and he would see me soon. At least he had the time to leave me a note.

I had been calling my Aunt and brother a few times as well. I was happy that they were safe and with the help of Mr Blake they were finally starting to relax, Aunt Holly needed that the most, a break.

I did the usual every morning, I got up went to the bathroom, washed my face, took a shower then dressed. Tomorrow I would be going to college with Nate. I was excited but nervous at the same time, very nervous. After I finished changed into a pair of tracksuits and a plain blue shirt Anna came in the room.

"Good morning Miss." She smiled, "I just came to tell you that I will just be your maid from now on, not your personal assistant. You're personal assistant will be coming today to meet you at two tomorrow after college."

"Oh, okay thank you Anna." I walked out and looked at the back of my door and found a small white paper note stuck to it.

Hazel,

Go downstairs :)

Nate.

Well okay then. I made my way downstairs and walked down the hall I could smell coffee! For the past couple of days I had adventured my way around 'The Palace' and found my way around places. After walking down the hallway I came to the clearing of the kitchen not looking up from the ground expecting to see Jack there as usual.

"Hi Jack." I greeted looking up from the ground but I was wrong, I saw Nate smiling at the kitchen island smirking. He was positioned in front of the coffee maker and I could see the hot liquid pouring itself into a mug with two plates of egg and bacon.

"Good morning Hazel, did you get my note." His smirk changed into a soft smile and took the mug away after the coffee had finished. He gestured the mug to me and toke it.

"Thank you." I took a sip and smiled. "Hmm, how did you know I like a cappuccino?"

"I may have called your Aunt to find out some things about you. Like you favourite foods, drinks etcetera." He laughed.

"Ok well I'll test you then." I challenged setting the coffee on the table. Nate set his coffee down as well and grinned.

"I accept your challenge, Griffin."

"Okay. What is my favourite food?"

"Lasagne." He said almost instantly

"Favourite drink beside coffee?"

"Orange Juice."

"Favourite movie?"

"Dear John"

"Okay you'll never get this what is my favourite book but favourite fandom?" I smirked.

"Your favourite book is The Fault in Our Stars but your favourite fandom is The Mortal Instruments." He smirked back. I was shocked.

"How did you know all that?" I laughed in amazement.

"I have a good memory... And apparently a better memory when it comes to you." He smiled. My cheeks heated up as I smiled.

"Okay then. Why do I like The Fault in Our Stars as my favourite book but like The Mortal Instruments better?" He couldn't possibly get this. He scrunched his forehead and looked up to the ceiling as if he were thinking.
