Sophie and I were walking down the corridors on the way to our next lecture, all the while her hitting my arm and interrogating me about what had happened on the weekend between me and Nate.

"Are you ever going to tell me about your date?" She bounced around shaking my arm, "You have that ridiculous gooey love struck look all over your face" she laughed pulling me into the room and over to our seats.

"Yes I will but not now, I'll tell you after class." I smile while taking out my notes. The lecture went by pretty quickly but the whole time I couldn't stop thinking about Nate, he was on my mind 24/7 it was like an addiction that I couldn't get rid of anytime soon. The memory of the date we had made me smile and feel hearty inside.

"Okay can you tell me now?" Sophie begged when we sat down outside.

"Okay I'll tell you."

----

"Where are you taking me?" I smile looking out the window watching as the city flies past us.

"It's a surprise, you'll find out soon enough." I turn my head and see Nate with that grin on his face making him glow, He looked like he wasn't even from this world but from a different universe and it still amazes me how I've ended up here in this position. I roll my eyes and reach over to quickly peck his cheek.

"Whoa is it just me or is Nathan Blake actually blushing." I giggle lying back on my seat.

"You're lucky your cute and that I'm driving." He says shaking his head and focuses his concentration back to the road.

About half an hour of watching the scenery change from skyscrapers and small shops to tall trees and nothing else but the road in front of us. Nate pulled into a small dirt driveway that went for at least 100 metres. The car came to a stop and Nate looked over at me smiling softly taking my hand and raising it to his lips, "Let's go" he quickly said and got out. I followed him to the front of the car and took his hand that he extended for me to take.

"Please don't tell me this is the place where you take people to kill them, because I don't really feel like dying today." I whimpered softly looking over to Nate's gentle face seeing his mouth grow into a large grin followed by his godly laughter.

"No it's not. My parents used to take me and my sister here when we were kids. Seems like forever ago but I still remember everything. I've never showed this place to anyone, but I still come here every now and then just to think about stuff but it's been a while." He frowns at the words as if he's remembering the memories that took place here. I tighten my grip on his hand as he leads me towards two trees in which the vines dangle in the centre creating a little entrance archway that sways side to side as the wind gently blows. Nate pushes them aside and walks through it pulling me along with him. The first thing I realise is the sunlight that hits my eyes automatically closing them as they adjust to the light. When I reopen them I gasp and take in the view that takes place in front of me. It's a huge open area with a green grass and a variety of different types of coloured flowers and towards the back is a waterfall that then runs into a large pond, while the rest of the area is surrounded by trees.

"This is incredible" I say still taking in the amazing scenery laid out in front of me. Beside me I hear Nate chuckle, he takes my hand and leads me over to a spot on the grass and collapses dragging me down with him.

"Nate!" I yell as I fall on his hard torso I look up to him and start to laugh with him. I push myself into a sitting position next to Nate and continue to look around the place. I start to imagine a small boy with brown hair and blue eyes running around the place and playing in the water.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Nate asks while sitting up.

"I was just wondering what it would have been like for you here as a kid." I smile
