Gladly, the ticking of the clock seemed like fast-forwarding in 2x that the time escalated to a quarter before 1 pm.

Students are slowly coming back, pacing in a strolling manner as they navigate throughout the campus after enjoying their lunch.

This is also most likely the case for the Kim siblings. The batch of vampires is bluffing behind them as they pass the large gates of Tantiana.

They did share (?) lunch meals back in the Kim Household, seated on the same long glass table with the Chairman and Professor Lee, who will also join the batch in the mansion for supervision. However, the inhumane creatures had their lunches more special—special that made the siblings devour their plate of foods faster than they usually do just to be able to escape the spot.

Nevertheless, it was cool. No fights or bickering happened. Some vampires did grow closer to each other, as it's kind of their first time being this close.

"Your eyes, Huang."

Renjun hissed and snapped a glare at a cocky friend. His walking distance was getting closer to the two-toned hair as his shoulder would occasionally bump or brush against his.

"Could you scoot over?" Renjun snapped as he walked further aside, yet the other purposely hopped closer to him again and bumped his shoulder. "Ya!"

"Ooohhh, are you mad at me?" he cooed.

"Seriously, Donghyuck," Renjun exasperatedly sighed. "I'm not in the mood to play with you."

"Oh, aren't you always?" Donghyuck mockingly replied, "Chenle and Jisung are too nice to stick with you. I didn't want to leave you alone."

"I can manage alone," he seethed, and once again his eyes landed on the female's back, who's at a fair distance. "I just needed some time alone."

"You were always alone." Another cocky yet raspy voice passed on the two's hearing.

It was Jeno who jogged on the other side of Renjun, plainly and obviously triggering him with a tease.

"Won't be surprised if the young duo leaves you," he added while facing them, walking backwards at that.

"They won't." Renjun rolled his eyes. "I literally raised them."

"Oh, really, they would be rebel kids then."

At this time, Renjun stopped walking, as well as Donghyuck and Jeno in front of them. His eyes were shifting to deeper rubies as he stared intently at the ravenette.

"Okay, Jeno, what do you want?" Renjun asked with a forced kindness in his tone.

"What do you want?" Jeno threw the question back and eyed the other like he's in deep thought. "Eh, I know what you want... power," he mouthed the last word.

"Oh," Renjun lowly chuckled. "You think so too? Then we're the same?"
