Aerin managed to flash back to Tantiana University by two buses, luckily storing her wallet in her pocket since her bag and phone are sitting lonely on the cafeteria table.
It's almost 3 p.m. when she reaches the entrance gates. The guards are confusedly looking at her but don't have the guts to approach the chairman's daughter. For some reason, Aerin thanked the creator for the fact that she came from a big business-oriented family.
"Oh, Aerin?"
She immediately halted her fast tracks, looking over to the black-haired, tall girl with a laptop on her arms.
"Oh hi, Jimin." She panted and flipped her hair back, allowing the cool air to run against her sweaty neck.
"Yeah, isn't it your major class today?"
"Right, it is."
"Mhm, then why are you out?"
Aerin's eyes widened in fraction and she flashed a beaming smile. "Ahh, Mr. Ji asked me to fetch a HDMI adapter, but I can't find one in the office, so... catch you later!" she rushed away with a muffled scream as she almost slid through the wet tiled floors.
"That's weird, Mr. Ji's laptop doesn't need one," Jimin mumbled as she watched the shorter girl run.
"Told you he wanted your attention," Giselle lightly squealed while waiting for her exhausted friend to finish clearing her locker. "I'm shipping you with him~"
"Uchinaga Aeri Giselle, stop," Aerin lowly said, making the other immediately shut her lips tight. "You're not shipping me with anyone. If ever you really want to..."
"KIM AERIN!"
A sudden male voice interrupted them, making both girls face the newcomer.
Giselle gasped, eyes in her hearts, as she literally and shamelessly gaped at the most beautiful view she had seen through the whole school year.
She nudged Aerin by the elbow—maybe a little hard because the short ravenette yelled and glared at her.
"Hey... Jeno"
"Hey"
Feeling as though her screen time was done, Giselle slowly slid away from the scene with quiet giggles and finally ran away.
"GISELLE!" Aerin grumpily called louder enough to reach her excited friend but didn't take the chance to look back and meet her lion gaze.
"Aerin..."
"Oh my!" she gasped at the sudden cold contact on her forearm.
Jeno immediately retracted his hand and cleared his throat, hesitantly looking the girl in the eye.
"Aerin, I'm sorry. I swear I didn't mean it. I suddenly got the need for blood, and, ah, I'm sorry, I shouldn't mention the blood."
"Lee Jeno, relax! It's okay." Aerin cut him off with a reassuring smile.
The vampire heavily sighed, his ruby eyes soft and begging for forgiveness, making the girl chuckle.
