As much as Aerin wanted to flash out or even teleport her way to somewhere hidden, she couldn't because she's just a powerless human, obviously.

Her phone buzzed like a bunch of bees, flying in circles in an unending manner. She secretly pulled it out and was greeted with 67 missed calls by an unknown number in just an hour. She blocked it and put her phone in silent mode after that.

When the second period of their afternoon classes ended, Aerin decided to check the device to see if something important would pop up, but she saw 142 missed calls and a hundred messages of annoying chains of hello, hi, reply, and some like I'll kidnap you to my heart or don't make me mad. It was yet another unknown number, and blocked it again.

Nevertheless, the seemingly frustrated girl, close to reaching her longest patience, turned her phone off as the third and last class started. She doesn't need to dwell on who it is.

Ending the class with their teacher with yet another motivational quote, the students immediately minded their own businesses as most of them exited the room.

"I can't believe I already spent 8 years in this computer course, and the only thing I just memorized is Hello World," Giselle sighed.

"Don't exaggerate things. Hello World is just a basic string that is literally everywhere in the basic syntax examples. Memorize semicolons also."

"Nah, Google Sunbaenim can do all the work."

"Right. I think I'll change my password to Italian."

"You really love to annoy me, don't you?"

The topic dropped immediately, and I had to face-to-face with the vampire with arms crossed.

"Why did you block me?" he added.

"Because it's my phone and it's my rules? And correction, love, you're the one who's annoying me."

"Happy to distract you, sweetie," he winked, satisfied with the pet name that the girl used. "Let's go, love. We have our date, remember?"

"Mhm, let's go, Gi." Aerin beamed and clung to the taller girl's arm.

"W-what–"

"I'll buy you tubs of ice cream for a week," Aerin desperately whispered and turned back to the male. "Off to food!" she then dragged her friend, earning two reactions.

"Wait—no Kim Aerin!"

"IT'S OUR TIME!"

Fast forward to when Aeri Giselle Uchinaga found the most valid excuse to get out with the enemy quarrel every 10 minutes. She successfully left them when she saw her closest male friend, Shotaro, and claimed that they have advanced Korean classes together, with the otter-like male helping her.

Aerin was very suspicious about it, but before she could say a word, the two rushed out.

Now she is alone, in the Hangang field... with this vampire smirking.

"I like your friend. She knows when to move out."

"No, she just doesn't want to be with you," Aerin retorted and popped a chocolate, which they ordered in a café nearby.
