Once alone and private, Renjun had already pressed his girl down in the comforts of her bed, all focused on how their lips molded together in a perfect, rhythmical manner.

Aerin had already adapted to and gotten used to this kind of kiss; their unlabeled and surprisingly comfortable make-outs taught her a lot. And even if she knew very well that there's no assurance of their relationship, she felt like she belonged there. Trapped in his protective arms as they take in their moment, not feeling the coolness of his skin anymore, but the fire that's escalating every other second.

But now that they had something to call themselves, she felt her heart relax and lean in. With him, she could trust. With him, she won't bother to rewrite the stars, as long as it's him.

Call her selfish, but she doesn't want to share. Renjun is hers now.

"Aren't you cold?" Renjun asks ever so softly, contrasting the usual dark demeanor vampires have.

Aerin looked up at him, a fond smile cursing on her face as she gripped the male's collar, pulling him in to connect their lips again.

Renjun lightly chuckled in between the movements, letting the girl lead this time.

After a few more seconds, he concluded with one last tight press on her lips and pulled away, then rolled over to the other side to pull her body close until it basically pressed onto him.

They basked in the balanced temperature that they radiated—Aerin's warmth perfectly canceling the vampire's cold ones. It wasn't much of a work, though; it comes off naturally with a pure lace of love.

After long minutes of silence, a sigh of contentment was heard from the girl, making Renjun inched his face away from the crown of her head and peaked in.

"What's wrong? Am I doing something wrong?" Renjun asks in paranoia, and if his heart were alive right now, it's probably beating in nervousness.

Aerin's giggle relaxed him, though, and when she looked up to place a feather-light kiss on his jaw, he smiled.

"Just... thank you," she breathed out. "For not leading me on a heartbreak, I guess?"

"Why would I?" he abruptly stopped after a thought and frowned. "I played so dirty on the start, didn't I?"

Shy, she nodded, yet she saved the vampire from beating himself up with three pecks on his jaw, cheek, and lips.

"Are you really serious right now? For us?"

Renjun took a long silence with that, just gluing his eyes to hers as he lovingly stared at her star-trapped orbs.

Then he fondly smiled. "I promise."

The sweet night had passed, and Renjun quietly yet hesitantly left before the sun peaked on the horizon. Aerin just woke up at mid-eight o'clock with a loud banging on her door.

She dragged her feet grumbling, and once she twisted her doorknob unlock, her body was immediately clutched in a bone-crashing hug, plus a high-pitched squeal that definitely woke her whole senses up.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" Giselle came, hopping like a kangaroo, then pulled away as she squished the newly awoken girl's cheeks.

"YOU'RE SUCH A SHOW STEALER! But you already did it when you arrived, so CONGRATULATIONS YOU GORGEOUS LUCKY BITCH!"

"Giselle," Aerin grimaced and rubbed her eyes. "How's you and Kunhang?"

And maybe she took the wrong turn and horribly wished that she just let her friend goggle on her recent relationship. Because now she may have called her dolphin friends around the world with that ear-bleeding squeal.

"HEASKEDFORADATEWHATTHEFUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKK"

Aerin can just back away in a fair yet still dangerous distance and look at the taller ravenette who's crazily dancing Aechaos' Pink Mamba, figuring down as she slithered like a snake.

"Gi, thanks for mopping the floor anyway."

"I CAN DIE IN PEACE!" Giselle yelled in triumph. "And you, girl, will be joining us on a double date!"

And that means another chaotic day.

Cuddling on the girl's bed again, lies Renjun with Aerin's upper body pressed on his, fingers running down her hair in a soothing way.

Pearl didn't dare talk about what happened on the double date; she fully knew that it's all 50% chaos, 50% public display of affection, and 27% bickering to make it 127%.

To summarize it all, they gathered for breakfast at Starbucks, then strolled on IKEA with the vampires, ending up playing with a huge stuff snake in a furniture section. Then we decided on a lunch place with rocks, paper, and scissors (it didn't end peacefully). Following is a dollar-cost grocery shopping, then ended up in their own ways at 4 p.m..

Renjun and Aerin, though, decided to teleport back home, and by home, they meant the girls' dorm unit. Then they end up with bodies lacing until now, not bothering to get dinner, except for Renjun, who needed to drink at least one can of blood but didn't do it in front of Aerin.

Fast forward, and it's 3 in the morning, both still awake and in low energy. Window closed and a dim orange light on.

"Not going to hunt again?"

"Hmm no"

"You were out with that for, like, days?"

"I'm okay," he reassured and pressed a cute kiss on her pink nose. "Still feeling cold? I'm sorry, baby; I can't give you warmth."

Aerin frowned, somehow feeling the vampire's disappointment as it showed in how his eyes turned gloomy.

"You do. Every time you hold me, I feel warm and safe."

"Liar"

"I'm not," she huffed and nuzzled her face against his neck. "So don't ever let me go, Huang."

"Yes, ma'am," he chuckled. "Love you, kitten"

"Again with that name?" Aerin scoffed as she propped her upper body up in her elbows.

Renjun just looked up through his eyelashes with a smug smile.

"You know what, kitten, your bed is so perfectly comfy," he pushed his upper body with his elbows, his lips reaching her ear as his breath fanned her bare skin. "Bet we could have killer sex in here."

"HUANG RENJUN OUT!"
