"Okay seriously," Shivaay cribbed. "What the fuck is this?"

Prithvi hit the back of Shivaay's head lightly. "You might be sick but that does not give you the free pass to use such words."

"Ugh!" Shivaay grumbled as he watched the doctor strap a weird monitor on his chest. "Fine. I am sorry. But what the heck is this?"

The Doctor who was acustomed of Shivaay's ways, smiled. "It's a Holter monitor."

"And why am I being decorated with it?" probed Shivaay.

"Shetty, don't mind this idiot..." Prithvi butted in. "He always has a problem with something or the other. He does not like things on him."

"Yes, I know!" the Doctor grinned. He sat down on the chair and reminisced. "Remember how he used to roam naked in the Mansion whenever I came to check him? He has always hated clothes on him."

The two nurses around him giggled. Shivaay hid his face in embarrassment. He could always trust the two gentlemen to roast him without being aware of it.

They were at the Doctor Shetty's hospital to conduct the tests he had suggested. After going through an ECG and a complete stress test, Shivaay was exhausted. Now, they were keen on strapping an equipment on him.

"Wonderful memories!" Shivaay quipped. "But how long do I have to keep this on?"

Doctor Shetty shrugged. "Two days. I want to have a complete record of what happens during all times of the day."

"You are kidding me?" Shivaay screeched. He stared in horror at the electrodes stuck to his chest, the small device hanging around his neck. How was he going to hide it from everyone? How was Annika going to react to it?

"It's okay Shivaay!" Prithvi mused. "It will do it's thing quietly. You just have to go about doing your things. Not a biggie."

"But Dadu, what am I going to tell Annika?" he asked.

"The truth!" Prithvi shurgged. "You will tell her what happened as it did. What's the trouble in sharing information about your health with your own wife? And wear a shirt in front of others. They will never know you have all this beneath the clothes."

Shivaay looked down and realized that he was sitting without a shirt all this while. He hurriedly picked up the hospital shirt and clutched it in front of his chest. No wonder the nurses were not leaving the room. He coloured.

"It's needed that is why we are doing it," the Doctor said. "I saw a few abnormalities in your ECG and I want to check it thoroughly. And after this monitor comes off, we will go for a MRI too. I don't want to listen to your excuses anymore."

Before Shivaay could protest, Prithvi nodded. "Yes. I will bring him. Don't worry."

Shivaay could only stare at his grandfather.

"Kahan chalna hai sir?" Khanna asked.

"Apne hotel mein le lo..." Prithvi instructed and the Khanna nodded.

They had not brought their regular driver with them because they wanted to keep the hospital visit under wraps. And Khanna was never going to speak up about it. He was that loyal to both Prithvi and Shivaay.

Wearing his shades, Prithvi sat back and began to scroll through his mobile.

"No need to bribe me like this."

Prithvi looked at Shivaay and asked, "Sorry what? Did you say something?"

Shivaay uncomfortably crossed his arms over his chest. Then he grumbled. "Yes. I said that you don't need to bribe me. It's not needed."
