Prologue

"Babeeeee~~"

A clingy voice came from behind the blonde girl. Before she could turn around though, a pair of arms wrap around her waist. Her feet lifted off the ground and she sighed before speaking.

"Childe... put me downnn"

The male complied and leaned down to give his girlfriend a kiss on the forehead

"Are you both done now...?"

A concerned voice could be heard next to them, Lumine's twin brother Aether was glaring at them. Childe just laughed as Lumine blushed

"Sorry Aether... that wasn't my fault"

"Oh yeah I know. Mr Childe here has never left you alone"

Childe gave him a stupid smile before turning to his girlfriend

"Well I'll meet you tomorrow at 7 okay?"

And with a small peck on the lips, he left the twins to travel to rest of the way back home. Aether looked at his sister and chuckled

"When did you start dating that idiot?"

Lumine thought about it while walking and then looked back at Aether to give him an answer

"Uh... when we were about 10...? He was already 12 though-"

Aether shook his head and crossed his arms

"And how old are we now...?"

"..."

Silence. Aether laughed and held his sister's hand as they walked home. Truth to be told, Aether and Lumine were turning 18. Childe was turning 20 this year. High school years were ending for the twins and they would have to go to University after graduation.

Genshin High had been a great school for Lumine and Aether. They had made a ton of friends and most of them had started dating. Aether was actually in a relationship himself, dating a girl named Keqing who was the same age as them. She went to a different school though, so Aether almost alway had to talk to her online.

Soon enough the two of them got home and Aether went straight towards his room.

"Planning to call your catgirl again??"

Aether blushed and quickly shut his door making Lumine laugh. She went into the kitchen and grabbed a yogurt bar to snack on. Her phone started to ring so she picked up, hearing a very familiar clingy voice

"Lumineee"

"What do you want Ajax... I'm not really in the mood for your bull crap right now"

Childe was just an Alias he went by, his family calls him Tartaglia but his birth name is Ajax. Lumine liked to call him Childe but she called him Ajax a fair amount too. She rarely called him Tartaglia just because she prefers the other two names.

"Awww come on baby~"

His annoying voice warmed Lumine's heart even though she just wanted to study peacefully

"You know... if you wanted to study silently you could've told me~"

"Heh I'm glad you realised"

Childe quickly said bye and hung up the phone. Lumine finished her yogurt bar and she went into her room. Closing the door, she changed out of the school dress and changed into a more comfortable
T-shirt and shorts.

She turned on her computer and played her favourite study playlist before she started studying.
After a few hours of studying, Lumine checked the time
