Childe was startled by Aether's sudden outburst and then he just stood back and looked at his sleeping girlfriend. Keqing took another chair and sat next to Aether.  She had her hand on his back softly trying to comfort him.

She looked back to see Childe still standing up, staring blankly at Lumine. Keqing then brought Aether outside so Childe could have some alone time with Lumine.

"Lumine..."

He slowly staggered towards her and he sat down. Holding onto her hand he just sat silently as he thought about all things things they did together. Eventually Ather and Keqing came back in with the doctor, letting Childe know that everything was going to be okay.

It got really dark and only one person could stay in the room, other's had to leave. Childe wanted to stay but Keqing brought him home and left Aether. He kept close watch on Lumine and didn't sleep a wink.

The morning soon came and Aether left as soon as Childe came in.

"Morning Childe, sorry about yesterday... I was just really out of my mind and I-"

"Its alright... I know you're just worried"

They both smiled at each other before Aether stood up and left the room. Childe sat where Aether was and let his head rest on an empty space on the bed.

He was extremely tired. His school had been eating away at him with a bunch of tests and stuff, resulting in a very sleepy-deprived child. His eye bags were quite obvious and usually Lumine would complain but... she wasn't awake

No rush Ajax, it's only been half a day since this happened. She will wake up in a few days.

And yet, those days went by so slowly. Aether and Childe were usually the ones to stay overnight while Lumine's friends visited during the morning hours.

Eventually they all made through the week. Doctors had updated that Lumine could wake up at any moment. She was stable enough to breathe on her own and her blood had plenty restocked itself. It was just a matter of time until she woke up.

Of course, everyone was happy to hear that she was doing well. Childe just wished That she was awake, or even better, he wished that this never happened. It was all so sudden...

"Hey Childe, you should head home..."

Childe turned when he heard Keqing's voice and not Aether's voice. Standing up he sighed and walked towards the shorter female. He put his hands on his waist while Keqing stood in front of him, leaning on the door frame with her arms crossed.

"Where's your boyfriend?"

"He's back at his place. He said he couldn't come today since he's busy trying to gather all the materials Lumine missed. He's also cleaning up the place since he's left it in a mess ever since the accident."

She sighed and walked past him, sitting on the chair next to the bed. Her eyes trailed back to Childe who was hadn't moved one inch.

"You're going to fall behind if you keep skipping school, you should spend tonight resting then go to Uni tomorrow and catch up with what you've missed."

Childe hummed then looked back at Keqing who was holding onto Lumine's hand with a gentle smile, a smile he rarely ever saw from her. He left the two girls in the room and went back home. With Keqing, she poked Lumine's cheek as she sighed

"Oh Lumine... you should hurry and wake up now. The boys are very worried about you..."

She scoffed a little

"Those idiots are risking their future for you so you better hurry up and drag them back to reality. I've done my best with that airhead of a boyfriend you have as well as your idiot of a twin"

She smiled sadly and rested her head in her arms as she leaned on the bed's edge. Looking down at the floor, Keqing let herself cry a little bit

"Please wake up soon, sister... its been a long week... and I miss you, Lumine..."

The night passed as Keqing was slowly but surely falling into the depths of her sleep.

"Keke, wake up~"

A soft voice whispered in her ear as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. She stretched her arms up then covered her mouth and yawned before looking to see Aether holding a bento box.

"Good Morning Princess Keqing, your breakfast is ready"

He bowed and held out the box making Keqing giggle at his stupidity

"Good morning to you too Aether"

Sitting beside her, Aether looked at Lumine and back at Keqing. She started eating the food and Aether was blushing in embarrassment

"Well... do you like it? I made it myself..."

"It's amazing, I love it... thank you for this!!"

He chuckled and kissed her on the cheek

"Well I think we should head to school, I would stay behind but Im already falling behind with school."

Keqing nodded and quickly finished her food

"What time is it now?"

"6:30"

"Ah, that's plenty of time."

She sighed in relief as she took one last of her food before giving the rest of it back to Aether

"Here, you can finish it. I'm not that hungry"

He ate the last few bites and led her out of the room and they headed their separate ways to prepare for school

ehe sorry about not updating yesterday ^^'

I was trying to catch up on my math work because I haven't been paying attention for the past 2 weeks :c
Luckily I did manage to finish a whole 10 and a half pages of work but like a still have one lesson today and another double math lesson tomorrow T-T kill me plsssss

Anyways, hopefully you didn't get too bored at the Kether stuffs that happened at the end there-

I SWEAR THE NEXT ONE LUMINE WILL WAKE UP-
