"Hey Lumi, how are you and Childe going? You know... with the whole memory thing"

"Ah... it's fine I suppose... nothing too quick really"

She laughed and hugged Lumine tightly.

"You'll get back into things soon enough! You obviously still have those feelings for him, you just can't remember anything."

The blonde just sighed and hugged back. Deep inside, she knew there was a way to remember everything but she just couldn't say it to herself. It's like a feeling that wanted to burst out but there was something blocking it.

"Yeah well you gonna stay over again? It's pretty late"

"Well... my parents stopped locking the door before I came home but... I kinda wanna stay here with my sister~"

Lumine chuckled and got up

"Come on then, I'll set up your bed while you change"

Giving her a set of clothes, Keqing ran into the bathroom and got ready for bed while Lumine pulled out the spare mattress. Lumine changed to her sleep wear and settled down into her blanket as Keqing came in.

The purple haired girl put away her clothes and picked up her phone. She called her parents and quickly informed them of the spontaneous sleepover. She then put her phone away and sat beside Lumine.

Lumine helped Keqing take apart her hair and let it flow naturally. It was a rare sight to see Keqing with her hair down but she still looked as pretty as always. Brushing out all the knots then tying her hair into a loose braid.

"You wanna sleep now, or you still wanna stay up a little longer?"

"Ah well... I wanted to ask about Aether..."

Smiling sweetly, Lumine nodded and let Keqing ask her questions

"So uh... is there anything in particular he likes...?"

"You?"

Keqing immediately got super flustered and Lumine could only laugh.

"Well, I'm only being honest... but why ask? You planning to get something for him?"

"N-no! I just thought maybe I should apologise for not being able to spend much time with him while he was feeling unwell..."

"What why? There's nothing to apologise for! You were busy today and Aether understood that. Besides, he spent most of today sulking around and burying himself in his blanket."

"Hmm... I guess so..."

Lumine sighed and hugged Keqing before getting up.

"Go sleep, I planned to do something earlier but I forgot to do it so I'll do it now"

Keqing was a little suspicious but then hummed and nodded, letting Lumine leave the room. She quickly lay down and got comfortable, eventually falling asleep.

With Lumine she quietly sat at the dining table and got out her school books. Of course she knew it wasn't good for her to stay up late to work, but she just really wanted to study. Eventually, the sunlight started shining in and Lumine was still working. It wasn't even like overdue assignments, she was writing essays for the fun of it, she was drawing beautiful works art of because she was bored. She was doing all this work purely because she wanted to.

"Lumine...?"

Lumine heard Aether's sleepy voice and looked to see him slowly making his way to her. She had out away all the academic stuff like science work, math work and english work so that Aether wouldn't find out. She currently had a sketchbook in her hand and she was drawing out different projects she could do for her final piece.

"Lumine... why are you out here?"

"Ah I just woke up early thats all"

Liar

Aether thought to himself. He wasn't brave enough to straight up say it because he had no evidence to prove it. And knowing Lumine, she'd never accept the fact that someone else found out.

"How are you feeling?"

"Tired... but I'm not sick anymore. I'll be coming to school with you"

"Alright then, I'll wake Keqing up and then... can I do your hair...?"

Aether chuckled and nodded. Both twins went back into their rooms and Lumine shook Keqing awake. She sat up and stared at Lumine

"Did you sleep?"

"Yep! I just woke up earlier"

Keqing had a skeptical look but she sighed and stood up. Taking her previous set of clothes, she went into a different room to change. Lumine got dressed in her uniform and then she went outside to to start preparing lunch boxes for them.

She made some fried rice and put them into three containers. She placed one in her own bag then packed the books she needed for the day. Aether came out of his room and plopped his bag onto the couch. Lumine took a comb from on top of the printer and started brushing his long hair.

"Awww~ This is something I haven't seen in a while~~"

Lumine looked up to see Keqing smiling proudly

"Your lunch should be on the kitchen counter. Can you also take Aether's lunch?"

"Yeah sure"

She left as Lumine just finished off tying Aether's hair into a fluffy braid. Keqing came back with both boxes in hand, giving one of them to Aether and putting the other in her bag. The three of them were ready and they left the house.

"So did you both sleep well?"

"Well enough... with being sick and all"

"I slept great actually!"

Lumine laughed and linked arms with her

"Thats probably why you couldn't hear me come in or go out of the room!!"

"Hehe... right"

The two girls carried on chatting and walking, leaving Aether behind with his own thoughts. After a while of walking, they reached their usual meeting spot at the crossroad. Childe had yet to appear but they were slightly earlier so they casually waited.

Soon enough, 5 minutes had passed over his usual timing and Lumine was starting to get really worried. Aether quickly wrapped his arm around her shoulders to calm her down and Keqing held onto her hands

"I'm sure Childe will come soon!"

"Yeah, he said he was gonna see you today."

Looking into the distance Lumine could only worry what could've happened to him...

alright so I've decided that I'll try to update my stories once every two days. I have to stories so I'll kinda just flip flop between the two ^^'

I've been getting kinda stressed with my school since I think my email got hacked and I cant access anything.... so yeah, I'm still gonna try to update everyday but the schedule above is probably gonna be better in the long run <3
