Lumine opened her eyes and looked around. Her eyes locked onto a little girl with a long purple braid tending to some machines. Her bright pink eyes looked so emotionless, it was hard to know what she felt. As she tried to sit up, the little girl immediately noticed her movements and started the rise the back half of the bed. Lumine smiled at her but she didn't smile back

"Don't move... Qiqi will go get... Dr. Baizhu..."

The girl left Lumine in the room for a few seconds then came back with a tall man

"Ah I see you're awake now! Your twin as well as that ginger haired male were really worried, the girl with the cat buns seemed to worry as well"

"Ginger hair...? Ah whatever, by my twin I suppose you mean an idiot that looks like me, but with a long braid? As for the cat buns, you must mean Keqing. Yeah... would you mind telling me what happened?"

The doctor nodded and started explaining

"Well, first of all you're overworking yourself. If you ever find that after working you get dizzy, never do work for the next few hours. Your mind cannot handle so much working. Maybe some people can but not you, if you keep pushing through eventually you'll find yourself at a place of no return."

"Oh... alright. What happened after?"

"Your brother brought you over and the other two came shortly after. They're all at school now but I think you should continue resting until they end school. Usually one the guys would stay over and watch over you but after skipping 3 days..."

Lumine shook her head

"It's fine... but I shouldn't move should I?"

"Try to stay as still as possible, would you like me to fix the position of the bed?"

"No need, Im fine as it is"

He nodded and led the girl out of the room, leaving Lumine alone. She spent the rest of the day on her phone or doing some of the work left by Aether, strangely enough it was pretty hard for her even though she knew that she's learnt it before.

A few hours after her lunch was brought to her, Aether opened to door and was surprised to see Lumine sitting up and awake. He walked over and put his hand on her cheek

"I see you're awake and doing well?"

"I'm perfectly fine Aether... just a little brain dead I suppose!"

He chuckled and looked at the math worksheets Lumine had finished. He took them and was a little weirded out by the results. A lot of her work was much messier then usual and half of the answers were wrong. He found it strange that his sister was having this much trouble with one of her best subjects.

"Hmm... your school work might be affected... Your math work seems off, but I brought all of todays work. I know you shouldn't be doing work but I want to know if I can help with anything..."

Giving her the work, Aether silently watched as she flawlessly zoomed through all the subjects work except Art and Math. There wasn't any problem with Art, it was more like she spent a lot of time making the drawing perfect and it came out amazing. He gazed proudly at Lumine while she finished the work, then it came to Math.

Her working got slower and her accuracy in the answers was low, Aether was weirded out because something as simple as this wouldn't slow her down. She'd usually finish something like this in 10 minutes but it took her 30 mins. Aether sighed as he looked at the muddled working out and all the wrong answers.

"Your math has been greatly affected... well I'll try to help as much as I can"

Lumine sighed and looked out the window. Aether got up and pat her head.

"I gotta go now Lumi, I have a lesson soon. Childe and Keqing should be coming at any moment now. I texted them a while ago"

"Alright, thanks for coming to see me"

He nodded and was about to open the door when it burst open revealing an excited Childe and a unamused Keqing.

Childe ran to hug Lumine and Keqing stood besides Aether. They both looked at Childe and Lumine... but something seemed off. Lumine was completely frozen, not hugging Childe back, not doing anything. Instead she quickly pushed him off and looked at Aether and Keqing with confusion.

"Hey... who is this...? And why did you suddenly come hug me? Do you always go up to random strangers to hug them??"

"Wait Lumine you can't possibly forget him?!"

Aether blurted out, Keqing went to see how Childe was reacting and it wasn't good. His face was pale and full of shock.

"This is Childe... or I guess you called him by his birth name, Ajax. You two are in a relationship and he was really worried about you..."

"B-but... he seems so foreign..."

Each second that passed, Childe's heart would just continue to shatter. After a long stressful week, he had finally been able to talk to his lover... but yet, here he was being nothing but forgotten memories.
