"Aether, I'm gonna go now. Ganyu is calling for me"

Xiao's voice awoke Aether from his sleep. Considering our drunk he had gotten the previous night, his vision was still blurry. Xiao's well-built figure and his fluffy hair was the only thing he could make out

"Oh alright... I hope I didn't you anything too stupid yesterday..."

The older male scoffed and chuckled slightly before reassuring the boy

"Don't worry, you didn't do anything embarrassing"

Aether let out a sigh of relief and shut his eyes, hearing him leave the room. He tried to fall back asleep but couldn't. His mind wouldn't let him fall back into the depths of the dream realm.

He sat up and adjusted his eyes to the furniture in front of him. Once everything got into focus, he got out of bed and met with Lumine speaking to both Xiao and Ganyu

"Alright so you got everything to go?"

"Yep! Thanks for your hospitality Lumi, me and Xiao will get going now"

The blonde and the baby blue haired girl shared a sweet hug before Ganyu grabbed Xiao's hand. They left the house and left the two siblings staring at each other

"You look drained, did you really just that drunk?"

"Don't even say anything..."

Lumine laughed and pushed a cup of warm water to him

"Here, drink this while I prepare some breakfast. I was thinking of inviting Hu Tao, Xiangling, Xingqiu and Chongyun over for a sleepover. Would you mind?"

Aether shook his head and pulled out a chair. He sat down and took a few sips of the warm water. Lumine took her phone out and started texting to group chat they had. Her expression changed to sheer disappointment and she sighed.

"Only Xiangling is free... but then she remembered she had to help her father with the restaurant so I guess she won't be free either..."

"What are the others up to?"

"Well Hu Tao said she had some business to work out with Yanfei... Xingqiu had to write some new chapters to his book and Chongyun had a few jobs on his list."

Aether chuckled at the things that kept his group of friends busy. The weekends were never free for the five of them. Hu Tao and Xiangling kept themselves busy with their family businesses, while Xingqiu and Chongyun usually spent some alone time together. If not that then they would be going on with their usual activities, Xingqiu with his books and Chongyun with his exorcist training.

"The usual stuff I suppose, Yanfei and Hu Tao seem to be happily doing business together. Yanfei with her legal advisor dream and Hu Tao with the Wangsheng Funeral Parlour... they seem quite joyful"

"Indeed they do. Now shut up and let me cook up an egg or two for you"

She entered the kitchen and Aether took out his phone. It was brimming with notifications as he saw the long argument Xiao and Venti were having.
