Over with Aether

Aether was having a lot of fun hanging out with the guys. Venti was being clingy to Xiao as always and Xiao kept reminded him that he already had a girlfriend. Though Venti knew that Xiao was taken, he still clung onto Xiao. Knowing that Ganyu wouldn't mind because they've been close friends as soon as Xiao enrolled at the school.

Behind them, Aether and Zhongli were walking side-by-side chatting about random stuff. Just before that Aether and Venti went to wait for Xiao at the front gate, Ganyu waiting with them. The couple said a few words before Ganyu had to rush home and the three boys left. They met up with Zhongli at a cafe and they had left there a while ago.

"So Aether, how's your relationship with Keqing going?"

Zhongli's voice interrupted Aether's thoughts

"Its actually quite alright Zhongli, we're doing pretty well"

Aether smiled at Zhongli and the older returned the smile. Zhongli was the same age as Childe but after finishing school at Genshin high, he went straight to working. He's working as a consultant at the Wangsheng funeral parlour.

Then Aether's heart suddenly froze. He stopped in his tracks making Zhongli pause and he called the Anemo couple back. Clutching onto his chest, Aether tried to control his breathing but no matter what he tried, he just couldn't stop. Venti quickly saw the problem and blew a small gust of wind to Aether. Taking in a deep breath, he started to feel normal again.

"What in Teyvat was that?"

Xiao sounded really concerned and Aether shook his head

"I should head home... I feel like Lumine needs help..."

Xiao and Zhongli nodded and Venti hugged Aether. The three of them waved goodbye and Aether dashed home. All he could guess was that it was the twin telepathy thing happening again. That last time this happened was in their previous secondary school, Lumine had been getting bullied and he had gotten there just in time to save her from falling down the staircase.

But this time was different. It was a lot more intense and he knew something serious had happened. He barged through the door and called out for Lumine

"Lumine!! LUMINE?!!"

Hearing that, he quickly went into the kitchen. Her voice sounded so weak and distant. Aether burst into the kitchen to see Lumine laying on the floor motionless as blood slowly oozed out of the wound she had on her head. Her soft golden hair was now stained red. Aether hastily grabbed his phone and quickly dialed the closest hospital. After finishing the call he took a roll of spare bandages he had in the medical drawer and tearfully, he sloppily tried to stop the bleeding.

"Lumine... plea-se hold on just a little lo-nger... help is on its w-ay"

His voice cracked as he gently scooped up Lumine's frail body and placed her on the couch to wait for the ambulance.
