June 17, 2016.

It was a dark, cold morning in the City of Escoda. Lauren woke up early.

Lauren said. She was eating a bowl of beef mami.

"Oo nak. Mamaya magmemeeting kami nina daddy mo about this storm." Rita answered. Kagigising niya lang and Brielle gave her a cup of coffee.

Brielle said.

Magingat tayo." William said.

"Opo dad." Lauren said.

9:00 in the morning.

Lauren and Brielle prepared what they needed for the upcoming typhoon. She prepared a medical kit, and she charged all of her phones and her portable radio for communication. Lauren also took canned goods and water.

"Pinsan, paano pala yung mga staff mo?" Lauren asked.

We'll be having a meeting na rin." Lauren replied.

"All goods yan." Brielle said. God is greater than this storm."

"Amen." Lauren smiled.

The Valientes Group did a videoconference call. Naghahanda na rin sila para sa bagyo.

"Alright, our government says that this typhoon will be one of the catastrophic typhoons in the history. So, we should help our people before and after the storm. The board of directors approved to use our funds for emergency to buy relief goods that will be distributed to the people of Escoda, whenever it may be rich or poor. That is our way to give a helping hand and that's the first essence of our company, to help every people." Stephanie said.

"Yes Mrs. Bates, we confirm that our funds for emergency will be used to give relief goods to the people of this city." one of the board of directors said.

"And we need to contact our local government in order for us to distribute these relief goods that we'll give to the people. May God keep us safe from harm." Stephanie said.

And at that day, sarado ang mga offices, mapa-pribado o mapa-gobyerno. Pero, bukas ang mga supermarket, hardware, drugstores and any establishment na nagtitinda ng mga essentials para sa bagyo. Medyo malakas na ang hangin.

Lauren called the SSG for an emergency meeting. Everyone attended the meeting via Zoom.

"Good day everyone. Sharmaine said.

Kelvin said.

"Yes, willing din akong sumama." Kaye said.
