When Lauren got home, finally, she showed up to her parents.
"Lauren! Kamusta ang paglalakbay ninyo sa Sur? Nagworry kami ni daddy mo kasi ang layo nun." Rita said.
"Sorry po mum and sorry po dad. Ayun, malayo nga po talaga. Pero safe naman po kaming nakarating. Gusto lang naming mabirit ang mga motorsiklo namin, kaya nagdecide po kaming magtravel ng Sur." Lauren said.
But, nangialam si Kate sa usapan nina Lauren.
"Lauren, ayan ka na naman! Baka mamaya yang pagaaral mo eh di mo na inaatupag dahil sa rides na 'yan! Dinamay mo ba si ate Brielle mo sa long ride na yan, paano kung nadisgrasya pa kayo!" Kate said. Hindi na lang kumibo si Lauren.
"Kate! Huwag mo namang pasaringan ang kapatid mo. Nagsorry na nga siya eh." William said.
"Dad, sinasabihan lang yang si Lauren na magingat! Di ba pwede yun?" Kate said.
"Tama na yan Kate. Hindi na maganda yan." Rita said. Kate walked out of the door.
"Next time anak, sasabihan mo agad kami kung malayo ang pupuntahan ninyo ah." William said.
"Opo dad." Lauren said.
"Tsaka pag Sur, dapat isama mo ako! Alam ko ang place na yan, igaguide ko kayo. May fast at safe na daanan papunta duon, pero mahaba." William said.
"Siyempre dad. Alam ko na nagmomotor rin kayo!" Lauren smiled.
"O siya, kumain na tayo sa baba. Huwag na nating pagusapan iyan para 'di na lumaki pa." Rita smiled. She hugged Lauren, and Lauren hugged her mother too.
This time, Lauren is now craving for longer and more exciting adventures to come.
November 10, 2016.
Lauren called some of her college friends at nagusap sila sa cafeteria. Still, Lauren was still inspired from her longride journey in Sur, Tanza. And also, she wants to help the freshmen varsity of her college by doing some fundraising things, but hindi niya maisip kung ano. She also called Chase and Sydney.
"Guys, may mga sariling kotse ba kayo?" Lauren asked.
"Ako, oo. Naka-Acura ILX ako na kotse." Chase answered.
"Ako, meron. Kaso, di nagagamit. Papaano, hindi pa ako marunong mag-drive. Mayroon akong Volkswagen Beetle." Sydney replied.
"No problem duon Sydney. Manghihingi lang sana ako ng suggestions ninyo. I'm sure na may idea kayo." Lauren said.
"Sige, ano ba yun?" May asked.
"Gusto kong magfundraising dagdag tulong sa mga school varsity natin. Tsaka, gusto kong magbigay ng extra funds para sa itatayo nating school partylist. Kaso, hindi ko maisip kung ano." Lauren said, scratching her head.
"Teka. Since nabanggit mo naman ang mga cars, magpa-carshow ka na may concert for the indie performers. Or sakto, malapit na acquaintance party. Isuggest mo sa bagong students council, since may kilala ka naman sa kanila. Diba?" Mico said.
"Good idea! Thanks for opening this up, Mico!" Lauren said.
"No problem, Lauren!" Mico smiled.
The following day, Lauren went to the students regent office to give suggestions for the upcoming acquaintance party.
"Hello, Miss Lauren! Kamusta po? Napadalaw po yata kayo sa office?" Jennalyn (BINI Aiah) said. She is the president of the reformed students regent of the school.
"Dangbuti lang, Miss Jennalyn. Kayo po?" Lauren asked.
"Eto, mabuti rin. Halika, kape muna tayo sa office." Jennalyn said. She lead Lauren to her beautiful office.
