Chapter 16 - SSG Building

July 29, 2016, Friday.

Sharmaine, on the other hand, are now being trained by Teacher Avie to become an effective, competitive leader.

That afternoon, Sharmaine was visited by a newly-transferred student from Hong Kong named Liz (G.E.M. aka Chinese Taylor Swift). Si Liz ay anak ng isang ambassador ng Hong Kong Embassy ng Promenada. So in short, Liz is protected and has the priveleges of having riches and safety in the country where her parents are assigned.

"Hello, you're Sharmaine right? The SSG president?" Liz asked.

"Yes, I'm Sharmaine! How can I help you?" Sharmaine asked politely.

"I'm Liz. I'm a new student here in State of Escoda High School. I'm so happy that I'm here, and thanks for assisting me for completing my transfer here! I'm a daughter of an ambassador, by the way, so if you need my help, I'm willing to help you!" Liz said, shaking Sharmaine's hand.

"Thank you so much! Please enjoy your stay here in State of Escoda! We would like to help you too if you need it." Sharmaine smiled.

"By the way, I've heard about Lauren Santos, and the students say that she's a legendary SSG president here. Is that true?" Liz asked.

"Miss Liz, it's very, very, true! In fact, before, the SSG wasn't trusted by the students, our school are one of the worst in the city, but Lauren managed to transform our school and even stood up against the corruption of the former principals and the department heads. Without her, our school will never have what we have today." Sharmaine said. "She's greater than me."

"That's nice! I would like to connect to her. Can you please help me do that?" Liz requested.

"No problem, Miss Liz! I believe that she's in her house this afternoon. Let's go and see it for yourself." Sharmaine said.

"Awesome! After class?" Liz said.

"Yes, after class. Catch you later!" Sharmaine said.

"It's very nice to meet you, Sharmaine!" Liz said.

At nagkasundo silang magkita sa office after lunch. Sinama niya si Avanna, Shekinah, Jem at Andrea sa lakad nila.

"Miss Liz, these are the other members of the SSG. I would like you to meet them." Sharmaine said.

"Hello ladies! I'm Liz!"

"It's great to meet you, Miss Liz!" Shekinah said.

"I'll bring you to Lauren's house. I think she went home. She's now attending college in State of Escoda." Sharmaine said.

"Yes please!" Liz said.

Paglabas ng eskwela, Liz bought her Rolls-Royce Dawn car, and a convoy is following her to make way for her. Dala din ng SSG ang kanya-kanyang sasakyan nila. They went to visit Lauren in Crosariol Village.

At habang nasa daan, Sharmaine called Lauren. Sharmaine is riding in her Mini Clubman car.

"Sharmaine, balita? Napatawag ka?" Lauren said.

"Ate, sorry biglaan." Sharmaine said.

"Anong maitutulong ko?" Lauren asked.

"Papunta kami dyan sa inyo ate. May gustong kumausap sayo." Sharmaine replied.

"Sino?" Lauren asked.

"Si Liz. Bagong estudyante dito sa school te." Sharmaine answered.

"I see. Ingat kayo sa daan." Lauren said.

She called Chef Jane and Daniella. Kakauwi palang ni Lauren sa bahay galing sa campus.

"Mga chef, luto kayo ng pinakamasarap na dinner natin dahil darating ang anak ng ambassador ng Hong Kong sa bahay natin, kasama si Sharmaine." Lauren said.
